The aim of the game is to hit the brick with the ball.
Every time a brick is hit the score goes up by ten.
If you let the ball touch the ground you will lose a life.
You start off with three lives.
Built using the flash game and code at:

Its fine

1.56? It should be atleast 2.20.

Common people dont be harsh , after all its his first flash!
And actually I dont see something bad on it , its a nice game to spend around time.
It could be have more options but he probably dont know how to put them. You know , not everyone's pro scripters like you guys. And i bet half of voters cant even make such game -_- . (So am I , I just know Basics of ActionScript)

Whenever you use a tutorial , please place a link and don't claim it's your game ...

Exactly same actionscript and order of the words "level" , "lives" and "score" with the same points given every time you hit a brick

On the other side, graphics were really good, the pallet was drawn niceley and the game works way faster than the one on the tutorial ;) So I think you did a nice job anyway ;)

not too good

with better graphic it can be better :)

Many things.

First, whats the point of a score if there is no leaderboard or way to save your own. Second, make some more imaginative levels. All you seemed to do was just add another layer of bricks. Third, no variety. No powerups, hazards and it just made the game easier. Finally, what the hell were you thinking with the way you lose lives!? My ball should've touched the floor ONCE and then just froze waiting for me to click to start again. Instaed it hit the underside of the paddle and in half a second it had rebounded onto the floor two more times! One slip and game over. Put some more work into this.

A decent Arkanoid clone

Not too bad, not too good. Wish there was some sound. The biggest problem is that the physics are kinda wonky. For one it seems that the ball has a little bit too much freedom, and often goes where it wants rather than bouncing back, and numerous times it would get stuck in my paddle and when I moved the paddle it'd fall through and I'd lose a life. Also, you should always have a second or two when the ball respawns or let the player click to launch rather than having it drop and start bouncing the second the last one dies, it makes it unnecessarily harder.

Not a bad start though, I suppose.
