Author Comments

Many people said in their reviews that the author of the original comic was Legorobot, so I listened to them and changed both the credits and the author comment to give him credit. However, I recently got a mail from Legorobot himself where he told me that he's not the author of the original comic, but that it's someone else with a really similar style.

Since he doesn't want to take credit for someone else's work, I've changed the credits and author comment back again.

EDIT: Holy poop I log on and see this on the frontpage?! Thanks!

Edit: Awesome, my first award! Thanks for the high ratings everyone!

This is an animated version of the original webcomic, it's a tribute to the original author and to the band Mastodon who made the song. (Go buy their albums because they're awesome!)

The original webcomic was created by an anonymous author whom I'm not able to credit since there's no name written in the comic. I do not take credit for anything else than the animation. This flash is a hobby project made for fun, and I'm not making any profit whatsoever from it.

This project took a lot longer to finish than I expected, a lot of problems appeared when I worked on it. First of all the original voice actor didn't reply to my emails or send me his lines as I needed them, I had a lot to do in school, and the sound didn't sync properly when I exported what I had done so far. I gave up and forgot about the whole thing for a couple of months. However, I decided to take it like a man and finish the whole thing up. I got a new voice actor, Druoxtheshredder (He's awesome!), and I were able to fix the sync issues thanks to Knugen.

Well, I hope you enjoy it!

I had this idea ages ago but because I suck at everything I just put the comic to the music. This is much more awesome than mine.

i was about to back out at the begining but i was like "i may as well sit thrue this , i survuved half of twilight so nothing can kill me" and it was worth it. Cap'N Ahab or something and Moby Dick part really suprized me. nice job

I can tell you I watched the whole Twilight, it's nothing I'm proud of...

I wonder, will the scars ever heal?

Been waiting for this...

I've always wanted to see an animated version of this and I must say you did a pretty good job. The beginning and end were perfect, voice acting was spot on. The parts with the actual whale weren't as intense as I would've like, maybe more lightning and rain would've helped but overall a superb job, I think you did a pretty accurate representation of the comic.

This is the single greatest Flash animation I think I have ever witnessed.

Pretty good

i think alot of people watch the first 5 seconds of this and review it based on that, you should have used your clearly really effing good animation skills from the start as opposed to halfway through it, regardless good work bro
