Made this engine in flash a while back. Basically it is like a seen from above portal ripoff in 2d. Due to the way your point of view update the engine turned out kinda sluggish, so I'm not sure if I will use it for a serious game. But anyway here is a demo maze.
You control the character using the arrows keys. Reach the end for a little surprise.

You should think about using it.
I liked this maze. I think you should keep this engine. It gave me a good challenge. At first I was completely lost, but once I resigned myself to the fact that logic means nothing in here (coupled with some blind luck, of course), I was able to get to the end. Since I'm not good at making mazes, the "suprise at the end" bored me. The only reason I'm not giving a 9 or 10 is because there's only one maze. Make some more, please.

pretty fun
kinda confusing at first, but once you figure it out its fun, and the bonus at the end is really cool

hm demos
I don't like demos much. I don't think we should have them here myself. However, this does actually work as a maze, though I didn't have the patience to find whatever I was supposed to find. I found it very difficult to get the character to go down the small coridors, but maybe that was just me. It was weird when he multiplied into lots of people!
