UPDATE: 1st place eh? For some reason I felt it wasn't worth this. People said I don't deserve it, but it's still nice to get a cup, even on a slow day.

Runtime: 4 minutes. Give it a moment of your time, this is worth the watch. I only say this because I know most people hate sprites, but this I spent a long time working on.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year to Everyone. For the small amount of fans I have, I apologize for my long absence. I also apologize to everyone that neither NES Land or 42 Boxes has moved at all last year. I had a lot of problems with voice actors mostly. Some are very good, and some don't commit to deadlines and don't respond to emails. It's a long story, and I wont make a big drama about it. The point is, I'm going to try harder this year to deliver some top notch flashes.

So what is this? I love this song and felt it needed some visual application. NO I DID NOT SING THIS. I also realize this song is used a lot, but I wanted my own spin on it. Enjoy.

This has taken me some awe

When i saw erica and matt in the same title, i thought : "man this could be a wierd coincidence. And again i just woke up with a huge hangover so all of this might just be a dream.
Anyway, this is very nice! Nice lipsync, nice broadway style song (you sure know how to sing), and nice sprites.
And don't worry about most people hating sprites, it's probably because their wierd uncle locked them up in his basement when they were young, and all they had to do down there was playing sonic while crying, and now they have to shoot dogs to feel good or whatever.
Welcome back!

Mutteo responds:

Haha, kinda blows you mind doesn't it? Mutteo in NES Land doesn't show up for 8 MONTHS, then one day you find a random flash with The main characters of the show on BROADWAY!? If I was you, I'd probably feel the same way.

I'm embarrassed to say I didn't sing this, I wanted to, but Mippa was around to sing it with. I would have loved to sing it though, made me wish I pressured her into helping with this one.

Anyway thanx for the review and I hope I can deliver the hits.

Simply amazing

The simple fact that the lipsyncing with the sprites was just about (if not completely) dead on blows my mind. Great job!

surprisingly awesome

There are few things I blam without sitting through the whole flash. Anything Nintendo, Madness tributes, clock and cat crap made by 'crews'.. and SPRITES.

I'm one of those people you mentioned. I hate sprites. HATE them. This was the very first sprite work I've seen that was original, well animated and flat out entertaining. Awesome work.

I'd give ya a ten. But I hate sprites. =0)

Mutteo responds:

When it comes to Clockwork, I don't care for them either, some are really drab and depressing to watch. I get the same feeling with sprite movies too.

While I love sprites, I get bored watching most of them, so with that in mind, I make sure to make mine not boring.

So you, a sprite hater, liking my flash, is a victory in itself, thank you. \o/

LOVED IT!!

Just great. Really nice sprite work. I'm not sure where they were from, but I recognized a few..
ANYWAYS!
Good song, and it made me giggle to watch the back-and-forth...
5/5
10/10
Good Stuff! Keep it up!

Mutteo responds:

Most of the characters in the audience were either random people or my friends. Only half of them were VG celebrities, and it's hard to tell just by looking at the back of their heads. I just wanted a full audience to add to the ambiance of the song.

Thanks for your review! =3
