Thank you all very much for your awesome feedback!
Don't forget to recommend TREBL2 for the Rhythm Games collection!
== TREBL 3 - COMING SOON ==
I decided to put together a Facebook page for TREBL, where you can follow the development of TREBL 3: Rhythm Arcade (and offer your suggestions/feedback). Check it out:
This game is amazing! I am very lucky that i am both good at guitar hero and have a great sense of rhythm, or this game would be near impossible. Because of this learning curve, i give you 9/10. Amazing work!
Thanks man, glad you like it!
Difficulty has been the one thing I've been getting the most feedback about, and if you think this one's got a steep learning curve, you should have seen the first one! XD
With that said, though, I'm pretty comfortable with where the game is at right now. I will most likely continue to add easier songs to help new players warm up, but there are plenty of super-easy 5-button guitar hero clones out there already - I'm here to provide a real challenge! :D
Can't believe I've only just found this. It's really, really good. Although it's not very playable on this laptop because of the sync with my keyboard / timing but I imagine this will be fixed in 3. My only criticism is so many songs being locked; it's fustrating being forced to play easier songs after playing much harder songs in Stepmania and KBO. I think maybe have only the harder stuff locked for a later challenge.
Really looking forward to 3.
Glad you found it!
One of the things I'm changing in TREBL 3 is the way new songs are unlocked. I don't want to spoil the surprise too much, but the essential gist is that as you play the game, some songs will be automatically unlocked for you, but you'll also have a chance to pick and choose specific songs that you want.
Anyway, it's been a very busy year since TREBL 2 came out, but development on TREBL 3 continues, slowly but surely! I'm looking forward to publishing it as much as you're looking forward to playing it. :D
its decent but
i couldnt unlock new songs and i dont want to make a mochi thing so any clue what the deal is? besides that its a great game if you dont pay attention to the lag it dosent even matter cause you play to the beat i think it would be easier with the asdfghjkl; keys instead of the numbers but thats just me keep up the good work
It's like DDR for me in that There's a lot of stuff going on that can be distracting, I prefer a little bit cleaner less IN YOUR FACE stuff.
Sometimes the backgrounds hide the notes that need to be held.
But other than that, great stuff!
I've had a lot of people say the same thing about the background, so I'm working on a toggle to turn it down/off. Should be ready in about 10 minutes! :D
So many controls !
First of all i LOVE this game but! i think it has too many buttons :P
without 5 and 6 or 5 and 6 only on high difficulty this game would get a 10/10!
Great Job man !
Glad you like it!
And yeah, so far, it seems that every would like to see the game be a liiiiittle bit easier, so I'll probably try to tone the next one down just a bit more. Rock on! :D
