Teaser trailer I made for a fictional comic book movie, taking place in an alternate history where President Lincoln was shot and put into a coma, waking ten years later to find that the South has won the civil war; and purged the Union to create the Confederate States of America.
So what's a former 16th president to do? Why restore the Union by becoming a Steampunk powered superhero calling himself the Emancipator, of course.
I apologize if the video is a bit choppy in spots, as this is imported video I drew in Flash and animated using After Effects.

The story is a lot different from what we are planning for the comic book coming out soon from Psychotronik Comics but you've come up with a really fun alternate history take on the Steampunk Lincoln idea. It would be fun to collaborate on something more official maybe so contact me if you are interested.

Haha, awesome. Fact of the matter, your book was a huge inspiration and I'm looking forward to picking up a copy when it's finished. Even though neither of us were the first to come up with the idea of superhero Abe Lincoln I'm sure, I thought it would be cool to take the alternate history route. What kind of story arc are you planning for the book? Maybe we could collaborate on something in the future...

So if you want to embed a video, make sure the flash framerate, the flash video frame rate and the rendered movie from after effects frame rate are the same (European = 25fps, American = 29,97 (or 30)).
Make sure your video is at least 350kbps. Make the video size as big as you like (max is what newgrounds supports offcourse). As long as it's under 10 mb, Offcourse if the movie is really short, you might want to consider to not let people load 10mb for just a few seconds of animation.
If you take a look at my movies, you'll see that all of them are embedded videos! But it's really hard to see at most of them. I like to animate with a combination of flash, after effects, photoshop and cinema 4d. Flash shouldn't be your limitation :P

Well I guess I figured out where I goofed up then, as I didn't double check that the After Effects and Flash frame rate were both 29.97. This was my first time trying to embed a video file into Flash, as you can probably tell. Thanks for the help aniforce
