Originally for the Pixelmas Shorts II collab which is now defunct.
Stay inside and watch a light show instead of that Radio City Music Hall jazz.
It could've been better. U definitely could've added a good ending and some characters moving but ah well, putting that aside, it was a good light show. ;P
I definitely fancy a good light show and if I learned anything from the TSO concert I attended six years ago, it's that said music is all the better with a light show.
The choice of light ups where pleasant, the scene switching was tasteful and only a few things bothered me. The first being the tempo. Now I know it's hard to get a solid beats per minute for a song in order to get the proper frames per second, but when the socks where slightly behind and then the cups where slightly ahead I couldn't help but lose the mood while waiting for those cups to slow down. Second, when using music, I personally believe that one should cite the source somewhere in the actual flash film instead of just on the newgrounds page. And the last bit, your ending; as Saverinator stated, it's "abrupt." Where you end the song is on a Half Cadence, it's unresolved and most listeners are already following the music to the chord it should end on. So what I suggest is probably easier said than done, but next time you decide to make something like this, try to find an end chord in the song and splice it in for your ending.
Otherwise very nicely done and I hope to see future productions by you.
It was definitely enjoyable. I was wondering if it was going to keep going though since it was pretty interesting. Great job!
A great little short, just a abrupt ending. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is awesome ^.^
