Hey everyone, based on viewer feedback provided here we have made some adjustments to the premiere episode of a new webisode series, The Jesus & Hitler Comedy Hour. Watch the new version and check us out at www.redhatbluepants.com and let us know what you think.
To give you guys a bit of background on the project, before we started we had never even opened flash, never-mind attempted any animation, so we understand that the animation will be very rough compared to much of the work that we see posted by many of you on here. But we will keep learning as we go and you should see an improvement in every episode.
To respond to all those who asked, yes we do realize that "Spreken sie deutsch" doesn't mean "Son of a bitch". It in fact means "Do you speak German?" However it is a common German phrase that sounds much funnier than the actual German word for it, which is why we chose to do it.
And we know that Hitler's voice can be a bit of a contentious issue for some folks. Quite frankly we were trying to soften that fact that Hitler was actually a massive d-bag, and giving him a goofy voice seemed to work well.

Had its' potential
I always liked these styles of flashes because they are well animated, not too complex, and you can get a good laugh or two out of them. Although I liked this, it could use some improvements.
The art was very well detailed and friendly, the kind you want in a comedy like this.
But the animation wasn't that well, by that I mean the movement seemed frame-by-frame because you can tell that the background is moving slowly and that it is only 5-7 pictures played back of the rest of the movie.
The lip syncing was a bit off and didn't match the words that well.
Also, the exertions of the characters stays the same nearly all of the movie.
The voices were done bad in a very good way. Making Hitler sound like a guy with a bad French accent made it seem silly in a good-comedic way. I also like how the voice acting was clear and didn't have that annoying ring in the background. But the voice acting was mostly monotone which made it seem a bit less entertaining, I'd also like to hear some background noises, without them, it will seem that it's lacking something.
All in all, this was a decent flash, but what really got me is that this was your first flash, and if you ask me, this is a hell of a flash. Just add some background noises, and sync both the animation and the sound.

The drawings are nice, and the characters do funny little things to eachother.

ahem....
Your Hitler sounds like Mario to me.
i think this was not really funny. But the graphic is ok.
By the way, "Hurensohn" would be the right insult exept of "Sprechen sie Deutsch"

We know the correct translation. But hurensohn isn`t that funny to yell. On the other hand, everyone loves yelling "Sprechen sie Deutsch" .
We actually have a fluent German speaker on staff, but the obvious mistranslations of Hitler's German outbursts are going to continue to be a running gag.
Our next episode is less dialogue heavy which you may enjoy more. With English obviously being your second language I can see why the humor would have a hard time appealing to you.

pretty good
i would say add musiline in it and make him hitlers bitch of some sort add a couple of more charcters and it would be a better but dont over kill
I assume you mean Mussolini, and we do have a plan for a future episode involving Hitler's poker buddies who are famous dictators, and Jesus' buddies who are other deities.
So stay turned and you should get your wish.
