Arcuz is an Action Role Play Game (Like Zelda or Diablo). You fight with the monsters, train your hero, learn skills, search better weapons and equipments, compose new items using your creativity...and more! Don't be addicted! You got 18 different maps to discover, 25 quests to accomplish, 21 battle skills to learn, more than 10 types of monsters to kill, more than 100 weapons and gears to choose, and unlimited possibility of composition...Those are not all. We translated this game into 7 languages so half of the whole world can enjoy it! Hope Arcuz could bring you a lot of fun!

WASD: Move
J: Attack/Talk with NPC/Accept
K: Jump/Cancel
I&L: Activate Battle Skill. You can put 4 battle skills on the skill slots on the bottom of the game screen and press I/L to use the skills. You level up and add ability point to one of your skills. Then you click one of the skills on the SKILL panel and put it on the skill slot. You can only put active skills to the skill slots (not passive skills).
1/2/3: Use potions and town portal. Click the potions and scrolls in your inventory and put them on the potion slots on the bottom of the game screen. Then you can use the potions and scrolls by pressing key 1/2/3.
C/V/B/N/M/,/ESC: hotkeys for Char, Skill, Quest, Inventory, Map and Menu.

We haven't put a full version on Newgrounds only because there is a 10MB size limitation for flash uploading on Newgrounds, not for other reasons. Sorry guys.

We are using MochiGames API because we want our players be able to save and load the game on any computer. As flash can only perform local saving. This is a technical issue.

MochiCoins is an optional choice for those who lack time to play this game and want to level up quicker. Without paying a cent you can enjoy the game a lot. We developers have to earn our livings by making games.

Thanks to all of you, Nice NG players!

buttons didn't work!?

i've given it a one rating because it does potentially look good, if only the controls worked then i would have scored higher!

Funnaut responds:

Hi acquittedfelon, sad to see your scoring and we will try our best on key mapping in future games.

ohh k.

everything ehre like jedrick and the people said, is similar to diablo. Ever saw the game called Dragon Boy? it has much better things than yours no offence. The monsters are fairly different againsts others, and shows an experience bar. And if you guys havent noticed, i didnt see the very small detail with the color of the gloves you wear. Come on, you dont wanna add it?

My suggestions

PLEASE, make the items less price and add more monsters that arent VERY STRONGLY APART from each other. I dont like getting owned by some monsters who just it me randomly. Secondly, you should add better critical chances when getting luck.

In the future, i hope these diablo-like games wont fail.

~Good Luck.

Funnaut responds:

Hi Jerry1362, Dragon Boy...awesome name!! And thanks a lot for your suggestion! Yes the numerical balance is a little bit hard to balance...It took us more than 2 months to test the balance...Anyway thank you and we will keep making good games!

Good good but...

I'd be honest here. I have to say this game is very, VERY promising, as to the fact I am very into Action RPG's.

The gameplay is good, but the grinding takes plenty of time. I believe you also incorporated some of Diablo's gaming here, such as the chest, but I don't think empty chest are going to helpas much if it ever comes to ever crossing more than once.

Also, the map system is okay, but it somewhat obstructs the view due to the small screen and big map occupying the space.
I like the idea of being able to jump her in the game, and the aerial enemies, but in case of strength proportion, it's hard as hell to keep up with the enemies strength, so I think you should reconsider the stat each enemy has.

I have no problems regarding the equipments, but as for the price range, it's going to take a long while getting 5k when you're only getting 10-20 gold that doesn't drop always, even if the loot helps.

Like the other users here have said, the game seems quite unbalanced. So we suggest you should tweak with the game data~ somewhat player friendly. X3

And lastly my own recommendations.
1) Have a bigger screen ratio. a good 800x600 is a good start.
2) Create high platforms, so the jump command is utilize more than it could be.
3) Make new classes, I'm guessing that's a must for all RPG there is.
4) A better keymapping. The key commands are quite confusing.

and lastly~

If everything goes all well, cheers to you~ Create a portable game OR, an online game that can support multiplayer~ c:

Keep up the great work, it's really promising.

Unbalanced

Should be more easy quests for lvl 2-4

!
Leveling up should be 1,5x faster. It get's boring killing the same type of enemies for an hour to move forward.
!

The Composition is unbalanced in a way of math-statistic. It doesn't matter combining 1 or 2 the same type gems - it always would be like 4 small stones per big one. You should adjust the chance of combinig 2 small stone into big to 70%-75%. Or reduce the chance to transmute 1 small into 1 big to 10-15%.
The second this which pissed me off - nowhere told you can't get 2 different types of compositions per 1 item. That spoiled me lvl 2 ice with lvl 1 thunder. That was weird...

The stats unbalanced too and they have a very little influence. You should, maybe make stats prerequesites for the certain items, like in diablo.

I liked the navigation system and the maps. Still it's not too cozy to play with open maps at the same time.

The controls was somewhat weird. I try to press "c" for chat and "i" for inventory all the time, cause it's standart buttons for RPG games, which controls is in core-memory =) You should move all the "j,k,l,i" keys to numpad. And make i-inventory and space - chat and action.
And I've never used "esc" key - it's too far =) You should made some escape button more cozy-placed.

Graphics is good.
Quests are bad. Balance is terrible.

Anyway, good effort, still feels the lack of efforts on this game. I can feel the mood of author and it's like "C'mon, release it already. I don't want to tweak balance, cause it would be non 5 hours gameplay, but only 3 and that's not so cool.."
You should think more of a players.
