Thanks for the feature Tom!

Apologies, Icycle doesn't seem to run for some Ubuntu users. Try updating your flash plugin?

The next ice age has arrived and the world as we know it has peacefully frozen in time, but to one naked survivor it's cold and lonely as hell!

Icycle is a contemporary take on a RETRO style bike game which challenges your skill and memory. Trial and error will pave the way but remembering the path might prove harder than you expect. Collect as many bubbles as possible but be prepared for plenty of amusing fatalities along the way.

If only dying was this much fun in life!

Instructions: Ride over the icy terrain collecting bubbles while avoiding various hazzards. The push bike can only advance, you can not back pedal so remembering the best route is part of the challenge. You can influence your altitude over thermals with up and down keys.
Use the skull & crossbones button to commit suicide if the bike ever gets stuck.
Gain a new item of clothing each time you complete the game!

loved it

The chain reactions were well done, I Iiked the emphasis on needing to memorize the levels. Had more than a few suspenseful parts and that was a lot of fun. I would love to see a sequel with even more levels.

This game is simply amazing. The sheer lonliness of no music and the fact of him saying "hello?!" at every beggning of stage makes it feel lonley and deep. The bubbles and him being naked on a BMX bike add comidec affect.

The thing does offer challenge like you said. I had to remember at certain parts I died because they caught me off guard. Good thing that it respawned me at the same screen so that I could try again.

Starting at screen 5 it got harder. It took way more tried to get past that then the others. At stage 6 I was beat. That part where it says you coudn't back peddle was my stopping point. I tried and tried and tried, but coudn't get past it. If you could tell me how that would be nice.

I would like to see more out of you, though. And I would also like to see where the trail of bubbles leads. Ha! Bubbles. The last man on a frozen Earth who knows how many years after everyone died desides to follow a trail of bubbles. I do wonder how it froze? Maybe global warming? Nah, more like global cooling!

Hi letiger,
Thanks for the kind review! If you're stuck at the end of level 6, you need to swing the guy up to the cliff edge by using the up and down keys, like being on a children's swing :)

Good luck!

Pretty good!

This is definitely a good game, the only problem is that it is fun for the first 5 mins. After that, it is a bit repetitive. Which isnt bad, just not 10/10. Definitely a good game though :) Nice animation/art as well.

Difficult, fun, addictive, and any number of words to describe the greatness here...and all are an understatement. This game is a welcome challenge, and a cute premise. I would love to see more games like this. Especially about memorization of the level.
