IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING UNRESPONSIVE CONTROLS, OR CONTROLS GETTING STUCK:
Applez seems to be suffering from the same bug that Armed Prophet is, which is caused by a new update in Internet Explorer. As far as I know there is NOTHING I can do on my side to fix this. You can fix this by either using Firefox (this is just good all round advice) or by following this procedure, that I am told will help:
SOLVED: Tools---Internet Options --- Security tab --- uncheck protected mode. or Tools---Internet Options --- Security tab --- click -trusted sites - click sites - uncheck require server - click add (Make sure you also have unchecked protected mode for this zone) This will disable it for only the site you add. This solved the problem but obviously will weakens your security. I would recommend you only disable this when you go to sites you trust that have this problem. Tested with IE8 on Windows 7 RC. I also think it will work with Vista and IE 7.
I am unforunately, unable to replicate this problem myself, so I cannot guarantee that this will work. If anyone can shed some light on this bug, please contact me :D

A fun and different puzzle platformer, featuring 11 levels, 14 achievements to unlock, retro sprites and original music by 4 talented chiptune artists. The game also features a level select feature, allowing players to return to previous levels to get achievements they may have missed.
Controls: move with the arrow keys (or WASD), press down to eat apples or throw-up. Move blocks with space (when fat). Push buttons when fat to make platforms solid. If you lose a life, the buttons will still be pushed down, but if you lose all your lives, all the buttons will be reset.
This is my first full flash game, created as a summer project but only just finished! I was the sole programmer and artist for this game. I hope everyone likes it.

Not bad.
Getting boring after a while... The concept of "retro game" is nice. Medals just make this game better, but I would not play this game if there were no medals.
All medals works (in Opera browser). If someone don't believe in that, just check my profile.
For ppl who got stuck with secrets:
Secret areas - lvls 5, 7 and 10.
Gold Pad - lvl 10. When start just go left and fall down.

Uber cute apple?
I must say that the apple in the beginning must be the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time.
And the game was actually really fun, and yet it was not very easy. You may be less so for the extremely annoying music, seriously, sounds like a Tamagotchi dipped in water, and then you tried to get it to play. The sound is mixed with the sound of one hell of an alarm, mixed with the sound from an 8-bit games that hanged himself.
