Author Comments

Hey everyone, here's a game for you. It's a moody little puzzle game about a hermit that expands on the mechanic seen in games like Cursor*10 and Chronotron.

Bonus points go to Luka Marcetic, who handled the art, and David Carney, who wrote the music.

Don't forget: If you mess up, push R to reset the level. P or Escape to pause-Volume controls are in pause menu.

Great!

The gameplay was fun and unique, but I think what helps set this game apart from others is the mood and atmosphere of it.

Both the music and the story help create a sort of sad and longing emotion, that compels you to get to the end, similar to the Color My Heart/World/Dreams series.

The art was simple, but it fit the game just fine.

My only real complaint would be that it wasn't long enough. But that's only because it was a great game, and naturally you want more of a good thing.

This was a great entry overall, and I look forward to your future submissions!

Beautiful...

I don't know what to compliment first, if the playability, the backstory, the concept, the music, or the ending.

It was interesting, too, to read what the man was telling during each level (The final level was specially hard, mind you, but doable nontheless)

The puzzles required some level of thought... nothing too strainful for the brain, but it did require a certain degree of imagination to solve some of them.

Anyways, it left me thinking... I felt somewhat identified with the man to a certain level. I think we all do, really. We all do sometimes feel like we're all on our own. You did a great job representing thi very metaphorically. I hadn't commented or voted on any submission for quite a long time, but this deserved it. Bravo.
