One of the WORST fighting games I ever played
Anyone that knows me knows I'm a gamer. I like almost all games exept for first person shooters--the aim is always WAY off on those games--at least it is in my opinion. But this isn't a first person shooter...it's a fighting game--one of my faves. Where you can beat the snot out of everything that moves/gets in your way and not feel guilty about it. BUT...with this one there is a problem...Don't get me wrong, the banc story took A LOT of work and imagination--kudos to you on that and I do like the idea of being in a huge robot, kinda reminds me of Mecha Crusade or Gundam. But my compliments end there.
1. First, It seems like your enimies are WAY more powerful than you, have long range weapons that hit you when your not even in the line of fire, and if you happen to pick up one of their weapons--a gun or a chain--you get like 5 swings and it vanishes.
2. Another thing about the weapons it seems your enimies can use them ALOT better than you as well. I tried to get in close to a chain weilding one and I got hit 8 times before I even got close enough to land a hit and when I did try to hit it was blocked and i got hit 3 more times...so I lost half my HP to ONE foe.
3. Also the number of enimies on screen can be annoying as well; granted you are limited to 4, but if you have 4 super powered foes--which seem to be EVERY ONE you face. You're running low on HP, which is all the time so you have to burn through your special attacks and pray for a HP drop and if you don't you might as well resign yourself to the fact you'll be using another continue.
4. Another thing. Why is it that you can get hit with bullets, missels, lasers and punches even when you not even lined up with a foe? You have to be right on point to land a hit yet your foes can hit you as long as you're somewhat close to them in ANY way, shape, or form. That really kills it for me.
I could go on and on. I could mention how you need more HP replenshing drops, more and better weapones for you player characters, do away when the 5 continue thing, allow your player character to use their secondary attack as much as their primary knee/punch attack, increase the walking/fighing speed of your player characters, and redo the aiming sothat you DON'T get hit if you not in the line of fire...the list goes on and on I suggest redoing the game so the fight mechanics are more beleivable and smoother, let combos flow into one another as you attack so you not just kneeing and punching over and over again.
It does have potential but it needs a lot of work...

one of
On of the better side scrolling beat-em-ups I've ever played. Good SFX and enticing story. I couldn't hear any music despite the option to mute it, so I'm not sure if there was supposed to be.
Also, I noticed the political humor. The, I'm assuming, Glen Beck reference on a sign int eh background was awesome :D
