A flash music video and a tribute to the song "Lacrymosa" by Evanescence.
As always, enjoy!
same as what others have said really
great designs and everything but animation really does need quiet a lot of work.
Almost looks like you kinda couldn't really be bothered with it so you just quickly rushed through it
I was going to write a full review of this, but the person before me said just about everything I wanted to :3
Character animation needs polishing, the motions are too jumpy
(for example, the man swinging his sword at the demons, but his arm/sword went from point A to B with no substance in between)
I can see that you have a good imagination, and I too look forward to seeing more from you.
Good Idea, but...
This could've been better.
From what I can tell - you used another piece of software other than Flash to produce this movie. The pixelation gives that away - because Flash is a vector based program - pixelation wouldn't be a problem had this been rendered through Flash alone.
Although the background art isn't too bad, (I'm assuming the backgrounds were made in something like Painter or Photoshop) the character art isn't anything special. This could be very good if you'd not (for example) changed line widths on the characters between frames.
The song choice is a good one. I was a huge fan of Evanescence for quite a while (until they continued to disappear for years at a time...) and I love the choice because it mixes the haunting vocals of Amy Lee with the Lacrimosa Requiem from Mozart.
Overall, your art needs some serious work. It will get better as you practice more and more so don't worry about it too much - just practice.
and as "rageian" said - I'd love to see a remake of this once your art and animation has improved.
Aww, why's everybody hating?
The animations are fine! They're not awful. I really like the storyline too.
didn't like the animations that much though
Feeling sorry for yourself doesn't get you anywhere...
First episode: Trolls attack the village and heroes come to defend it.
A short animation about Journey
