all in just 989 bytes (-:
I actually made a little interaction inspired by this called 5kb on my old tri-circle account. You should go take a look at that. Really nice work, it would make a really cool background or screen saver. I just cant get over how you managed to squeeze this in under 1kb, I have good experience with pure actionscript and I still couldnt manage to supper ass compress it down this far. And on another note I couldnt manage to make anything that runs so smoothly. Great job dude!
Best 989 bytes I've ever seen!
This is amazing. I wouldn't even know how to begin coding something that exhibits such complexity. The colors and patterns are absolutely gorgeous.
What's most striking about this to me is that the animation appears to unfold in the same way every time I watch it, suggesting that it doesn't involve any randomization. That's pretty wicked, especially considering how long it goes on without repeating itself.
Really inspiring stuff, man. Excellent work!!
:-|) it will never end
i tried to code this but it ran like ass
how do you make it run at a reasonable speed
This was mainly a performance test. After testing different ways for drawing pixels, I found out that I was just missing the lock(), unlock() methods. Having them on place it's amazing how fast the flash raster can go.
