This was an idea I had a few months ago but never felt I could make the necessary artwork to pull it off. After I finished my last Flash I had convinced myself that I could go on with it; I finished an animatic I had lying around and then started artwork and animation on Halloween.
As you can probably tell, 2001: A Space Odyssey was an influence.

Lol wtf?
He plants some grass and it sprouts water, mountains, animals??? Without any insects, it would have a hard time even reproducing itself. This is ridiculous - awesome animation, but totally absurd.
As is the idea that all that happened in a relatively short amount of time. Or that a rocket fly through the atmosphere without a tail-fin/vertical stabilizer, or that an astronaut would do a space walk to explore Saturn, and where did the parachutes go?
But seriously, you need to have a greater suspension of disbelief and just tell yourself that it's no ordinary 'grass', the mountains were already there, and the animals came eons later. I'm not trying to be realistic, I'm trying to tell a story.
