This was an idea I had a few months ago but never felt I could make the necessary artwork to pull it off. After I finished my last Flash I had convinced myself that I could go on with it; I finished an animatic I had lying around and then started artwork and animation on Halloween.

As you can probably tell, 2001: A Space Odyssey was an influence.

Pretty imagineative. Thought it was mars for a while.

Well done!

Very intriguing! The animation was great, the story well-thought. As for Musoukota, I'd like to point out that those were MOUNTAINS, and most of the planets in our system HAVE ATMOSPHERE. Heck, Jupiter's practically nothing BUT atmosphere! For the most part, I am actually impressed at how scientifically sound this was. Most Sci-Fis tend to dabble with ludicrisy. The whole buildup was done nicely. I thought this was Mars up till the very last moment.

The semi-realism comes from my love of 2001: A Space Odyssey. And I'm glad it wasn't too obvious that it was Earth; I was afraid that the subtle clues I put in weren't subtle enough. Thanks!

Great animation and the concept is intrigueing, but why were there pyramids? And how come there was atmosphere when there were no plants??

Dont wanna be too scienticical or anything, but it dint make sense lol
