EDIT: Whoa, Frontpage? Thanks tom! You're the best!

Hey everyone, Magical-Zorse here, and I want to tell you a story.
A story about a lonely zorse who meets a strange velociraptor.
The zorse helped the velociraptor with flash, and she made some great movies.
They soon teamed up to make an epic game,
with the velociraptor artimating and the zorse programating
After a month of work, they took a step back to admire what they had made.
The velociraptor suggested we ask the mighty stallion (tom) for medals to put in it.
So the two set out in their little boat to the great kingdom of Pennsylvania.
It was a long and perilous journey, but they both braved storms and giant waves.
They soon arrived in the peaceful kingdom of Philadelphia, greeted with open arms
by all the Knights of the NG Circle.
The zorse and the velociraptor asked the stallion for medals, and he was delighted to
be able to host such a game on his website.
The duo traveled back to their homes, implemented the medals, and now..........

Submitted it to the magical world of Newgrounds

In this tale of friendship, you must find John Van Deusen's lost pick.
It will be a long journey, wrought with dragons and unicorns,
But John has the utmost faith that you will complete your quest with
little or no injuries.

Fun but..

The game overall is fun but.. it would be a bit better if you make the character walk faster. Also different songs when you are in different areas, it would give the game an atmosphere.

Cant wait for the third part.

Magical-Zorse responds:

I had a feeling the character was walking too fast. I'll make the character walk even slower next time, thanks for the tip.

Crap

Sorry, man, but this game is horrible!

All you ever do is walk around for hours, then someone takes an item from you and gives you another one. And it goes on till the end of the game. Also the music is BAD and the graphics are horrible (nothing against pixelated graphics, love them, but I don't like the graphics of this game).

The worst thing is that it actually went to the front page once. I do hope you make a decent game next time!

worst game ever

walking animation was bad
your pixel characters where bad
and the only gameplay in this is holding right and reading all your lame newground references.

ok, cool

Extremely boring game

It takes nothing in order to beat this game. You spend the entire game pressing the arrow keys. There's no interactivity. You dont even need to read what the people are saying because they automatically take and give items as soon as you pass them. There's not even any need for the inventory since they take and give the items themselves.

I also thought the speed of walking was too slow and the music was repetitive and annoying. And yes I know there is a mute button. In my mind this game was a waste of 10 minutes and I thought it could have been better.

Maybe next time you could try putting some mini-games in. Perhaps 1 or 2 alternative songs to listen to. And maybe the option to say Yes or No to giving someone an item. And a little more animation wouldn't hurt.

No.

Why would anyone even bother to just walk around like that seemingly aimlessly? Why don't you put effort into something that could actually qualify as a game?
