"This was a good standard solitaire game..."

date: October 21, 2009

...until I realized you actually expected people to spend REAL money on mochigames to buy stuff like deck styles or special endings, both of which are generally useless to the actual game of solitaire itself.

I expected the upgrades to be obtainable based on points earned after winning, however after a couple runthroughs of the game and exploration of the shop that was obviously not the case. Honestly, a terrible idea. With the hundreds of THOUSANDS of freeware solitaire games floating around, including those already on newgrounds, nobody is going to pay real money for flash solitaire upgrades like deck styles.

Other than that, the game itself was good. Music fit well, graphics were alright, controls were alright. Upgrades and shop, pretty worthless. Seeing as the upgrades were definitely not worth any of my real money, this was just another basic solitaire game, "nothing too new or interesting" and deserving of the 2/5. Substitute mochicoins you have to spend real money on for fake coins earned in game, and think up some more interesting things to buy and this could definitely be a much better game.

Author's Response:

Well the coins idea seemed like a good one at the time, but I guess not. Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to look at converting the mochicoins system over to an earning points system.
Thanks.

"simple, well made, but has a bug"

date: October 21, 2009

as some others have said, when down to your last cards in the deck, if you place the three drawn cards, it won't let you draw your very last card making it impossible to win

"Nicely done"

Nice, clean design, and the concept of unlockable items is interesting for the game. Who can't get into a game of solitare?

"Gamebreaking bug"

date: October 20, 2009

Several times when there were fewer than three cards left in the deck, the button to deal them broke and made the game unwinnable. Fix it and you'd have a decent solitaire game, as solitaire games come.

"Bug Report"

date: October 20, 2009

Excellent game, but one bug: one can put a card onto its stack up top, then put it back on the playing field, then back on the stack up top, then back on the playing stacks over and over again, racking up an unlimited amount of points.

Thanks, I'll look at that now
