Are you the fastest Minesweeper in the world?

It's the original Minesweeper with awards, ranking points, stats and leaderboards.

You've got the classic windows puzzles plus an extra difficult one for the hardcore!

All your stats are automatically saved and you can compare yourself to the rest of the world using the in game global leaderboards.

Enjoy!

"Quite a nice little game :-)"

Fun, but I prefer the version I already have on my laptop.

The window is smaller than the Vista version that I'm used to, and there's a slight lag between moving my cursor and the grid reacting. But maybe that's just my computer.

Otherwise, a solid version of a classic game! The graphics aren't amazing, but they don't need to be. Just a straight puzzle/logic game. You definitely get a bonus star from me for the leaderboard feature. It's nice to compete against people.

Nicely done!

"Not Bad"

Well i dont just Zero Bomb people with crap like
"Iz SUKCS!@@!@E!!"
I believe you did a nice job, however the lack of originality is probably why you have a low score. I personally have never won a game of minesweeper in my life, and its not really the best way to integrate a Leaderboard. Its a nice remake, but again, can just play it on the PC (although noone does anyways). Keep up the good work. Stuff like this takes some work in actionscript, and people are just taking things like this for granted. Stupid People!

"What's the point?"

date: October 17, 2009

Well done remaking it, I appreciate the work you've done there, but still what's the point of remaking a game that everyone has as it comes with Windows? It's pointless, and the game isn't "powered up" or different in any interesting way. One scoreboard doesn't give the whole thing much more point. Just create something original of your own with the skills you have. This is seriously pointless.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the 10! Makes a change from the others.

It's not pointless for me as I've learned plenty of new techniques and created useful reusable code for future projects. After making it, even though it's pretty pointless, I decided to release it anyways.

"why?"

date: October 17, 2009

I have this on my computer and scores really don't matter to me
also why does this game have ads?

October 17, 2009

Author's Response:

Sorry you're not interested in the top scores.

It has Ads because it's distributed through MochiAds and to use their version control system you must use ads. I'll be lucky it it make 2 dollars - So don't worry about that!

This game was a little project to see how fast I could create a simple game and integrate leaderboards, shared objects and other APIs.

I'm not trying to make cash off this.
