Atomic Super Boss is a bullet-dodging shooter where the goal is to survive for as long as possible against the Atomic Super Boss's arsenal of attacks, while inflicting the maximum amount of damage. Flying close to the Boss increases the effectiveness of your attacks (and the rate at which your score increases). Continuously firing slows down your ship, making it harder to dodge attacks.

Score 2000pts. on Normal Mode to unlock Hard Mode.
Get killed by every one of the Boss's attack patterns to unlock the Secret feature.
For the best visual experience, from the Option screen select "Quality = Best" and "Smoothing = On" (requires a fast computer)

just hold space and evade simple yet agonizingly hard! LOVE IT!!!

Also it reminds me of some old-school games back in the Atari days.

A good waste of time.

Relatively simply game that's very addicting.
Catchy tune and nice to the eyes.

I never found it to be cheap, unfair in any way really, well except when it would shoot out the slow moving glowsticks in conjunction with the green bomb things, or when it shot it it's green cross hatch but I'm really kidding.

Just a nice simple game.

This Reminds me of a certain series of bullet-hell shooters made up of 17 games with one being a fighter..... that only had mostly girls and one guy........ I still can't think of it......... Oh YEAH!!! :D It remindsme of Touhou! :D

Hmmm, not bad

This wasn't one of my favorite games, but it was certainly quite impressive. I guess it was just supposed to be one level of play. This may have made it less enjoyable than other games, but you put in some impressive sprite graphics. It's an interesting concept to turn a single boss battle into a whole game. I don't even know if there's a way to even beat this guy. It was also really cool how you automatically hit when you were just pressing the button.
