EDIT: Thank you for this award what you have bestowed upon me. I shall drink heartily from this mighty chalice and toast the cosmos under the guidance of both Zeus of Jebus. Cheers!

(I will respond to all reviews in a little while but I've got to go to B&Q to pick up some flooring (I'm redoing the hallway and living room) so I'll be back in a couple 'o hours.)

========================>

Violence, blood and pathos...

...we are about to learn a very important lesson.

========================>

Special thanks must go to the terrific voice actors for putting up with my nonsense over the last few months. They are, of course;

Courtney Leacock as: Narrator, Dr.Samuel Baxter, Parking Attendant, Captain Violence, "Billy".

Shard-Spider as: Dr.Dieter Von Slaphed/The Follicator.

and Ms. Rina-chan as: Susanna Giuseppe.

Thank you also to the fantastic audio artists who have unwittingly supplied the sound track to this glorious monstrosity.

I hope that you can find it in your hearts to forgive me.

Well Done

Very well done. Improve the body proportions next time. Well drawn pictures can get your movie better scores. Great job.

Thanks for the tip!

I honestly thought the body proportions were fine but maybe I've overlooked some things.
Which bits exactly did you think were "off"?

I'll look into it! Believe me, I've seen much worse artwork!

Thank again!

:D

Tekno's Opinion

Forgive you for what? It's pretty good... a helluva lot better than the cr@p I've seen around here lately (must be my bad clicking luck or something).
There isn't something really new here, as a guy below me said, that's true, but it's well made, and you put a lot of work into it and gut the HUGE luck of getting those sweeet voice talents at your side. What I don't get at all, is how there were things that were really well done, as the cars and explosions, but some others were a little crappy, like some part of the characters' bodies on some animations...How that happened? Rush? It's a pity...
Oh! and I don't see why are you afraid of it being violent... Captain Violence is not even THAT violent.. I've seen some animations that were a lot more violent and chaotic, but a total piece of scum. Yours at least made sense, had a plot, a narrative line and its well stablished characters...
heh, and I also don't get why Sam didn't use the ray to hung like a donkey instead of having superpowers (lol, that would be another very sick plot XD)
Weee, thanks Mom and Pop for releasing me into this world well equipped =)
Oh.. sorry... keep up the good work! (try being a little more original next time! :) )

sorbitol responds:

Thanks for the critical review!

If there are inconsistencies in the animation then that it because I'm still learning the trade. Most of my cartoons have been tweened so I wanted to try a little project like this to try and learn Frame-By-Frame and how to draw with a tablet.

On the whole, I'm pleased with it but , of course, there are always things I could have done better.

Still, this is really only a precursor to something much more disturbing which is on it's way!

I'm glad you liked it, though, and I'm happy to hear you were born "well equipped"!

Well equipped people always leave the best reviews! :D

I like this

good animations... fitting tracks... nice script... and true to its name, needlessly violent

sorbitol responds:

He He! "...needlessly violent"! I like that!

Glad you liked the 'toon, mate!

Thanks!

o.o...

is Awsome :D but is like playing Spiderman of other thing :/ , and is like seeing Adult Swim

sorbitol responds:

Thanks!

Yeah, I stole from Spider-Man, Punisher, Hulk and Super-Man and made my own "hero".
I've always wanted to do a super-hero cartoon.

I've never seen Adult Swim. I'll have to check it out.

Cheers!
