I'm learning Action Script 3.0 and have now made my first Match 3 game. My first game was a Match 2 cards game. Of course, that one was easier since the card simply were removed. This was an other story.
I had to program for all possible matches, none possible matches and refreshing. It were not that many lines of programming but a lot to keep in mind.
In a more design note. I was very much fun to make jewels. I first did not want to, and tried a more flat star trek computer design, but it just became hard to play.
I added no music because in these kind of game, at least I, like to listen to my own music.
Though this game is far from unique, I hope at least you have a good time playing it :)

you could have added a catchy background tune though, with an option to mute for those who want to play with their own music
Another match 3!?
Okay, I appreciate that you put time into this but really -- does the world need another match 3 jewels game? No. It didn't need any more after Jewel Quest came out.
To me, "it works" isn't enough to get a good score or a good review. Great; you did it -- now make something that has at least SOME HINT of originality. Please.

This is a nice little game. Not very original but very good animated (it takes a little to long for the gems to fall) and good grafics!
Clasic and a little boring over time.
Good game overall!
