Music video for Pendulum's song, Tempest.

If you like this video, be sure to submit it to a collection, so that others can watch it in the future. There is a story, but it's open to interpretation. Let me know what YOU think the video says.

This project took a very long time to produce, enjoy.

it was pretty awesome!

it had great animation and seemed pretty cool, but next time you may want to put an actual storiline in there.

Thanks! With this project, I really aimed to create something that could be interpreted by the watcher. I understand, though, if you disliked it because of this.

Well put together, but...

Great job of putting together the animation here. Well done, and meaningful! But hey...help us Audio Portal submitters out! We bust our butts putting out tunes for you to use, and you grab music that's already out there on the big scene...sigh.

I'm sure you'll pass judgment for this, though. The only thing I can really say artistically is that you need a better opening shot to really hook us viewers with ADD in!

Keep it up!

Regards,

Ceevro

Thank you!

Ah yeah, I know. The Audio Portal is awesome, and I have contacted a number of users to get there music in my games, like I Am Archer and Autobox. This was originally a personal project that I didn't initially expect to upload to the internet. In other words, the song had meaning to me, etc.

Haha, understandable :P

Thanks again, man!

Great effort!

Just your animation seems to cute for an extreme song.
Your on the right with the technology, and as the
casket (?) opened, that was prettty epic,
Loved the fade out, didnt have a clue what the
flash itself was about. The box reminded me somewhat of
justices cross.

your introduction after the casket was opened, was the best in my opinion,
the video needs more striking images, more action.

I felt that it was all just a bit too calm, Tempest is a sort
of build up. Definately a build up of atmosphere compared to mutiny.
God. I love mutiny.
Love this too haha, but like i say more action; perhaps striking colours
Think of the effects like kill bill, with those dramatic styles, splashes of red on a black background etc. it just seems all ambient for a teenager
thing too. Respect the music taste man. All the best.

Thanks for the intense review!

That makes sense.. my primary artistic style is one that would typically be considered 'cute,' so there are probably similar undertones in this animation.

I understand what you mean about more action, making people more pumped is never a bad thing.

Thanks again!

Not bad

I found this pretty interesting, and I love this group so cookies to you for using this song. I agree that the art style is cutesy, but the overall theme fit really well. Kudos for that. However, it did need more action and better timing. Now, I'm not saying that you weren't in sync with the song. You were. But it was really slow at times, some images holding way longer than they needed to. Nothing more action wouldn't cure. ^_^ But overall, I think you did a good job. I'll be keeping my eye out for more of your stuff.

I completely agree with your points on the action sequences, and long miscellaneous scenes. Glad you liked the music, and really glad you like the Flash! Thanks!
