***PRESS THE SPACEBAR TO ADVANCE THROUGH THE TEXT***

In 2007, I brought you Blackout. Now, nearly 2 years later (and hopefully worth the wait), I give you... BLACKOUT 2!

Yeah, sorry it took so long. I've been working on tons of other animations and games, like Super Runner, so I haven't put as much time into Blackout 2 as I could've been.

Anyway, Blackout 2 follows the story of George, who has been nearly killed by Ebmod, and captured by Zen. Even though the first one didn't have much of a storyline, I still suggest you watch it, just so you can get a feel for the characters.

I've added a better storyline, better graphics, and possibly better action than in the first one. It's also quite a bit longer, if you count the fact that you have to read a lot of text. If you don't, then it's about the same length.

I read ALL reviews, and respond to all (or at least almost all) of them. They help me make my animations better, and they're also fun to read. Even if you want to leave a review criticizing everything about my movie, it's better than nothing.

I really hope you like this. I've put a whole bunch of effort into it, and in the process I've learned a whole bunch more about Flash.

Oh, and don't expect Blackout 3 anytime too soon.

perhaps ebmod wasn't suitable and calling his form a dragon like thing is kinda unfitting mostly cause it looks nothing like a dragon
and perhaps saying that the deminsion was destroyed is over-doing it because george, ebmod, and clone were still battling

trekopep responds:

Ebmod doesn't have much experience with dragons, so you need to take his form names with a grain of salt.
And dimension is a term used very loosely with Don. It's not really a 'dimension' per se, so it could be destroyed without anyone in it also being destroyed.

And yes, perhaps I'm just covering up plot-holes. Eh. It'll do.

I really liked it!

It's me, Olivia, and in all seriousness, I really liked it. I think that its would be nice to see the whole building that Zen and Ghost and people are working in- and are they working for an actual company or one of those random evil corporations disguised as cement factories? That's what I have to say, thanks!

trekopep responds:

Awesome, glad you liked it! Yeah, the building will be explored some more in the next episode, most likely. Also, quite a few things left unexplained will start making some sense. And I'll start sealing up some of those plot-holes! (Or trying to, anyway.) Thanks for the review!

Another good episode.

I remember watching the first episode of this series a while ago, so I still have a basic understanding of what was happening in this episode. Most of the fight scenes were hardcore, I liked the clones ice laser power the best. I thought you did a good job of giving all the characters there own personality. The Sherlock Holmes recurring joke was clever, probably my favorite part of the flash.

The ability to control the text was nice, but the plot became extremely repetitive and eventually got boring. The characters constantly preventing eachother from dying became redundant, and some of the plot events were predictable. I like the music choices, all the songs fit the mood of the scenes perfectly, I especially liked the one used before the credits. I'm looking forward to episode three, keep up the good work!

trekopep responds:

Thanks sumidiotdude!

Yeah, the plot was a bit repetitive and sort of boring. And thanks for telling me about the characters preventing eachother from dying. Amazing as it may be, I didn't really even notice that. Wow. That happens like five times. Huh.

I think I really need to make the action faster, but I'm glad you liked it anyway. Thanks for the review, as always! I'm glad you liked Blackout 2!

Faster fights please.

Faster... the action was GOOD but a little slow.

Look at many of the stick-action fights and you see you can barely see whats going on.

Also try less fight-dialog, maybe have everyone takes "breaks" and then fighting and then breaks, and then more fighting ect...

trekopep responds:

Yeah, I tried having faster fights in this one than in the first, but didn't do that great a job. I'll try harder for Blackout 3. And yeah, the fight dialogue probably wasn't that great of an idea. You might notice that there started to be a bit less of it at the very end, simple because I figured out that it didn't work too well.

Thanks for the review!

Amazing

it really is amazing the story line is great makes scnece a little farout but really good. your drawing skills are really good like really good. the voice OH WAIT there is none which is really bad because if there was one this would be a 10 i enjoy reading but it would flow smoothly if you just added some voices the music howerver is not yours but it fits in amazingly. that black monster was really weierd in a good way. the charecters were unique and had unique names zen, ghost, thats all i can remember lulz. oh and george back to the monster it was only a huge head you should have added more detail. for black out 3 you say dont expet it anytime soon so maybe you could make int into a game or interactive so 9/10 add voices and 10/10 but ill still 5 you :)

trekopep responds:

Thanks! Yeah, I don't know who I would have do the voices, because I don't know who would voice the characters best, so I leave it up to the imaginations of the viewers. But maybe I should try adding voices, just because.

Ebmod is usually just a big head, although he is a shape shifter, so I could probably have him turn into something else in Blackout 3. And yes, I have fun coming up with names a lot of times.

Blackout 3 is going to be an animation like Blackout 1 and 2, but I am making a Blackout game, if you look at some of my older news posts. It doesn't really relate to the storyline, but whatever. ;)

Thanks for the review and comments! I'm glad you liked it!
