Create your own fortune. Travel the land seeking to destroy the Buccaneers, an evil pirate organization bent on being outlaws... or join the Enforcers to help stop them and bring piece to the land! You decide, you build your fate, and in the end you choose the path you want to take and how to get there.

Frontier is a non-traditional RPG, taking mostly the form of an economics game... but in the sense that you're not set on a linear path to go destroy certain enemies or collect items. Your job is to survive, earn money, and do as you please. Destroy the Buccaneers or take down an entire city for your taking. Join the Enforcers and battle it out with some mercenaries to become true evil.

50 different cities beckon your trade and visit, each located in 10 unique environments and place. Each offers new financial opportunity or guild headquarters to find more purpose in your worldly pursuits.

What the hell, dude?

C'mon. 1. There should be a level up system. 2. Base the difficulty of the enemies on level. 3. Stop making so much shit attack!

Secret my ass

For starters for once i want to get something off my chest that made me frustrated from the start. A secret mission is no longer a secret if all the living and half the dead know that you are going to do it...

Ahem now that is out of my system

What happened here i was expecting something awesome but the game play is littered with bugs and what is the point of fighting if i cannot get any of my health back. It made afraid to towns intead of wanting to hit the trail i ended up dreading every single time i didn't even have a fair chance at some the enemy's due to the fact that i only had 5 health and always had to run away until i got super boat. Which for some strange reason my boat of death is much cheaper than other vehicles. Which brings me to my next point why would bother going for any of the other vehicles if the boat of death and my 4 swabbies can cause much pain. Personally unless i was sided with a faction all the way i wouldn't sell them the giant boat of doom to own my town.

The economic system is just plain broken no matter how much i flood an area with a certain amount of something it stays the same. What's up with that i abused the hell out of that if i flood an area with something shouldn't that change the economy. Also when traveling to abuse your economic system sometimes i wind up on the never ending journey which i do not appreciate at all. A supposed two day journey was going on for about 3 weeks. Three weeks for a two day journey is lame.

The artwork was something different from the swaine but i was expecting so much more. All in all though the artwork was solid nothing horrible and no graphical errors or floating body parts. The music was something i could appreciate. This game feels like alot of work went into it and it is really sad for me to give it this score but it feels like it is an unfinished product. (Is this a Alpha?) The game is plagued with flaws and bugs more so than Swiss cheese.

A great concept that fails incredibly in delivery

The amount of bugs is soo outstanding that i really cant understand how could you submit this game at this stage of development.
Negative travel time, passing bandits, bandits crashing the game, town with extrame prices diffrences right next to each other, bugged equimpent icons that stick to the screen and wont disapear, enamies fleeing yet remaining at travel screen, prices of the equimpent (weapons and armors) being so low that i had the best set for me and my whole party in the first week, randomness of the damage jumping from 5 to 40 without any logical reason or explanation, party not healing when entering the city, being able to travel to a city IN WHICH YOU ARE ALREADY... want me to go on?
seriously, if you would be so sort of flash newbie i could close my eyes on all that but you jmtb02 and armor games are in flash bussines just for too long and my expectations are far greater. the overall concept is great, the feeling of the game is great, artworks and animation are very nice also but the ridiculous easyness of getting money and gear, no real progress regarding player character, extrame legion of buggs and illogical fighting system made me rate this game 2/5 and 4/10. sorry, i wish i could rate it higher but i simply cant - you wont let me. i really dont know what you had in mind when submiting this here, on armorgames and on kongregate, for me the game i still in beta which means you shouldnt make it public before all those outrages buggs are fixed and - better fix them! because - after all i still have stgrong hopes regarding this game, it can be very fun and expandable if you will work on it for a bit longer, and i am looking forward to it.

Dull.. Too dull, actually

The idea is pretty old, but still good.

1) Tons of bugs. Really, guys, you should not release a game in a such poor state...
2) Getted bored too fast. Lack of actions and stuff. And again, you should not release a game in a such poor state!! Give more opportunities to the player.
3) Graphics are good, buy laggy as hell.
4) This is neither RPG, nor economics. This is sh*t, man!!! 1\10 of a whole good game. It have 1\20 of RPG and 1\20 of economics...

In summary, I've got very upset and dissapointed, how you dare to realease such unfinished game =((
