overall great game
Other than a few suggestions and bugs, the game was really good. Trading to get really rich was fun. The fights were done pretty well. A lot of stuff to do. There's nothing game breaking, just minor things that could be improved upon (in a sequel) and keeping this form being a 10.
There were a few bugs:
First, one of the achievements said that you need 100 cities, but there's only 50 of them. I figured I'd have to capture them all twice but it ended up giving me the award at 50.
The second, if you win any fight and click go before the combat screen thing is done moving, some weird stuff happens at the next battle. Sometimes you can skip it entirely (the go button doesn't leave).
The third, you could hire the same guy as many times as you wanted by hiring then switching to an other tab and back to the tavern.
A few things that could be improved:
Upgrading your vessel cost as much as buying one from scratch. Like if i already had the horse from buying horseback, why don't i get a discount for the cart (which needs a horse).
Taking towns was almost pointless (except for achievement). By the time you can win a battle against a town, you basically have a fully decked out team (costing up to 70k gold). At that point in the game, the 300 gold you get for revisiting the town barely pays your team's salary.
When doing guild quests, it was annoying to find the town you needed. With 50 cities to look through, it would have been nice if the town you needed to go to was highlighted.
Having a way to upgrade your stats would be nice. Your only given 6 points, which is a lot less than your followers get. What kind of leader has lower stats than every member of the team.
There was no way to avoid buccaneers (without losing anything). Even as the leader of the guild, they still attacked me unless i gave tribute. Having a way to try to sneak by would have been fun. especially early on in the game where you have no chance of surviving against a boat.
When you first start off, you have just as much chance of getting a boat as a guy on foot. Meaning that with your lvl 1 equipment, your pretty much doomed unless you give half your stuff away. My first battle ever was against a boat. they killed me in 3 shots as i tried to run away. It would have been better to start in a low level area which is safe while you get your cash and crew up. Then be able to move to harder cities (identified in a different color) which makes it more likely to encounter harder enemies. Maybe have an enforcer and a buccaneer capital, where the closer you are to those cities, the harder enemies you face. Starting far from both capitals would let you survive your first few encounters.

great game except for one of the achevments
this game was amazing, i have beaten all the endings except for the dictator one because it says to own all one hundred cities and when i got to about 30 cities i realized that there are only 50 cities in the game which seems sort of off to me, i am going to try and get all of them but if it doesn't work then that will be its only flaw other then that its a really good game a couple of the buttons while traveling can be glitchy but other then that amazing. definitely 10/10!
