Create your own fortune. Travel the land seeking to destroy the Buccaneers, an evil pirate organization bent on being outlaws... or join the Enforcers to help stop them and bring piece to the land! You decide, you build your fate, and in the end you choose the path you want to take and how to get there.

Frontier is a non-traditional RPG, taking mostly the form of an economics game... but in the sense that you're not set on a linear path to go destroy certain enemies or collect items. Your job is to survive, earn money, and do as you please. Destroy the Buccaneers or take down an entire city for your taking. Join the Enforcers and battle it out with some mercenaries to become true evil.

50 different cities beckon your trade and visit, each located in 10 unique environments and place. Each offers new financial opportunity or guild headquarters to find more purpose in your worldly pursuits.

okay here is the deal, i have always loved games with a commerce based system, although i have come across a few bugs in this game. one is the raiding party glitch, when you are on a mission for the good faction, and you are transporting the weapon "X" if you get shanghai'd twice in a row really fast, you just skip the second battle "convienient" in my case as the last battle i came across would easily have dispatched my frail, 1HP totin ass. as for gameplay, i am giving that a 3/5. for the art style, it recieves a 3/5 for the nice transitions, music, same, and economy based system swayed me to 4 out of 5.
style: 3/5
gameplay: 3/5
music: 4/5 (although it gets repetitive as fuck)
art: 3/5
Game Mechanics : 4/5
overall: 4/5
GREAT WORK swain, armorgames, and not to mention the programmer jmtb02, i would love to see a bigger version of this game, and would gladly pay for a copy if it became a PC game!

I can't believe I never did a review for this game. Such a fun one. Apart from the rare bug, the game ran well and was great overall. There isn't much I could say that the game hasn't been praised for already.

I'd love to be able to get the full soundtrack from this game. I'm addicted to the songs, but I can't get them because the buy option for the audio no longer works. It is a sad day.

Hurray, first post of the New Year! This is one of my favorite games on the internet. Every so often, i'll come back, play it, get all the endings, and rejoice. It's such a relaxing and peaceful game, and even though it's a touch buggy, you learn to how to deal with em and move on.

If you guys ever wanted to make a sequal, i'd play it. Hell, even if you charged for it.

I really like this game. My only issues are that the the data didn't save from my previous game, and that the gameplay got a little bit repetitive. I was basically going back and forth between towns just to make money.
