Create your own fortune. Travel the land seeking to destroy the Buccaneers, an evil pirate organization bent on being outlaws... or join the Enforcers to help stop them and bring piece to the land! You decide, you build your fate, and in the end you choose the path you want to take and how to get there.

Frontier is a non-traditional RPG, taking mostly the form of an economics game... but in the sense that you're not set on a linear path to go destroy certain enemies or collect items. Your job is to survive, earn money, and do as you please. Destroy the Buccaneers or take down an entire city for your taking. Join the Enforcers and battle it out with some mercenaries to become true evil.

50 different cities beckon your trade and visit, each located in 10 unique environments and place. Each offers new financial opportunity or guild headquarters to find more purpose in your worldly pursuits.

I can't figure out how to heal myself... So what do you do? Hope no one attacks you? :(

Great start

It's true this game does have some bugs and could be better but I think he really has something here. I can't wait for number 2!!!

Love the Game

These are always some of my favorite types of games. Medieval Trader on the old Macs, New Horizons on the Genesis and so on.
Things I would love to see:
1. Fix the glitches - the Ghost Ship got killed in one blow (44 dmg) and never acted. :( Very Anti Climactic
2. Add variance to the towns - with static prices I was able to run between two towns and racks up a million in no time. Once you can afford diamonds the game is pretty much over.
3. The Ability to have multiple wagons/horses/caravans so you can carry more loot.
4. Character improvement. Maybe +1 box every time you rank up in your guild?

Anyway, great job, improve this and expand it please. I would love to see v2.0 :D

Great game.

The problems:
1. I would go to press the stop button while I'm traveling and right as I clicked I ran into a buccaner and accidently clicked surrender, which caused me to lose half of my 150 narcotics.
2. I join the buccaner guild, get 100% negative reputation, and become the guildmaster. Yet I still get attacked by the buccaners and the enforcers still just ask me if I have any illegal goods, it's as if I'm in the enforcers guild. The AI acts as if you have 0 reputation.
3. The town capturing, though I was able to capture every town in 1 game, is very chance based. Sometimes I do 16, other times I do 48.
4. I wish I could fire myself. You can't upgrade yourself at all in the game, you just have those 6 stats the whole game, where as I've seen other people who had max defence and attack along with 3 in trade and travel. It makes you wish you could throw yourself out of the party and hire someone else.
5. how is it that a dude on a horse has the same health as a ship with 5 people on it. It makes no sense.
6. You can easily enter any castle that's not yours if you chose to be a buccaner, even with 100% negative fame. Shouldn't they, you know, try to keep you OUT of their town?
Other than this though, It's a very good game, and I'm glad you made it.
