Create your own fortune. Travel the land seeking to destroy the Buccaneers, an evil pirate organization bent on being outlaws... or join the Enforcers to help stop them and bring piece to the land! You decide, you build your fate, and in the end you choose the path you want to take and how to get there.

Frontier is a non-traditional RPG, taking mostly the form of an economics game... but in the sense that you're not set on a linear path to go destroy certain enemies or collect items. Your job is to survive, earn money, and do as you please. Destroy the Buccaneers or take down an entire city for your taking. Join the Enforcers and battle it out with some mercenaries to become true evil.

50 different cities beckon your trade and visit, each located in 10 unique environments and place. Each offers new financial opportunity or guild headquarters to find more purpose in your worldly pursuits.

Reasonably enjoyable

There are many improvements that could be made here:
*Why does a lone man on foot have the same health value as a land ship loaded with fighters?
*There should be a warehouse option, especially in towns you own.
*A fleet option would be nice. The ability to own more than one ship, or wagon, or whatever.
*300 gold is a bit thin as a reward for owning a town, and it should not be the same for every town since some obviously have more resources than others.
*Repairs should be paid for, not automatic.
*several glitches inteh travel and combat system have been mentioned above, and all can be worked around by simply logging out and re-starting the game. This even lets you get around dying.
Once I had a full crew I could not fire or hire anyone. It worked when I did it, but then when I looked at my party they were back to what they were before I fired one guy and hired another. Bothersome.
*There should be a wider variety of weapons available, as well as ship mounted weapons, or what is the point of the ship?
Modifications to the ship would be nice, improved armor, improved speed, etc.
*Why when I have a reputation for pure evil does every town welcome me with open arms? Wrong, wrong, wrong.

I could go on.

A bit too easy

The game itself was really good, but i mean, the final boss (the ghost ship) I beat it in one hit, it never even got to attack me. I loved the game, but make it a little harder please.

i really like it. but i wanna love it.

interesting interesting interesting. i really like the core concept and everything. but its somewhat hard when i cant heal my guy. was he suppose to heal throughout everytime he enter a city? or do u need to do something to him for ur char to heal? i load in my save and try it over and over and i just keep dying because my health wont heal. hmm another thing is, is there any prevention system from theives? i keep getting rob. dose upgrading travel stop the theives from stealing? wish the stats would tell us a little more in-depth when u upgrade. speaking of upgrade, those XP that u earn, will it let u lvl up and let u add another upgrade point? overall good game. i hope to play more when some of these issues are resolve.
