Create your own fortune. Travel the land seeking to destroy the Buccaneers, an evil pirate organization bent on being outlaws... or join the Enforcers to help stop them and bring piece to the land! You decide, you build your fate, and in the end you choose the path you want to take and how to get there.

Frontier is a non-traditional RPG, taking mostly the form of an economics game... but in the sense that you're not set on a linear path to go destroy certain enemies or collect items. Your job is to survive, earn money, and do as you please. Destroy the Buccaneers or take down an entire city for your taking. Join the Enforcers and battle it out with some mercenaries to become true evil.

50 different cities beckon your trade and visit, each located in 10 unique environments and place. Each offers new financial opportunity or guild headquarters to find more purpose in your worldly pursuits.

The game was very, very fun. Unfortunately I encountered a huge bug. I went to attack the city of Pia for the Enforcer quest, but instead of attacking it glitched and send me running infinitely. I was at negative 100 hours before I decided to refresh, but then my save was gone as well. Games like this have the most to gain from online saves, so hopefully if there's ever a sequel it'll have that.

black market got me rich in like five trades,Indigo lake to Yorn with poisons and then Yorn to indigo lake with whatever you can. If you have money left over before you leave you should buy something else to fill your cargo,as long as you get profit.

a bit too easy. beat it first try with only fleeing from 5 battles near the beginning. after i was able to get the big ship the game was way too easy. i was hitting the enemies for 47 dmg average and the enemies only did 15dmg at the max if it was a big ship with 5 ppl and high atk. otherwise i took less than 5 dmg each battle, most of the time none due to missing. two-three shotting each battle and taking no dmg basically is too easy. still addictive and good. but it could use a bit more depth and challenge in the battles. the economic part of it could easily be expanded upon and would make an even greater feature if you do a 2nd one.

I decided to wright a review after roughly 3-7 playthroughs

To be honest I did not like the sound, the graphics were less than stellar, there were multiple small and somewhat annoying glitches, and I really don't like that my character never gains more stats.

However this is still a great game. I love becoming the enforcer guildmaster, taking cities, and upgrading to a landship. I also liked the trading and recruiting. Because it can be so difficult to beat at first the game kept me hooked.

I would love to see a second and even moe complex version
