I LOVE IT!

Classic graphics & audio but still attractive. The gameplay is both fun and challenging. It is also addicting, which is good for a flash game. I would recommend this to anyone who likes flash shooting games.

Well-done and addictive.

I have to admit, when the first wave of shooting enemies came at me, my first thought was "Oh God, I'm playing Touhou!" But I was pleasantly surprised in that it wasn't as difficult. That's not to say this game was easy, it was still a challenge to complete, but at no point did I feel like I was being asked to do the impossible. I enjoyed the world design, and it was always obvious what was foreground and what was background. I also thought that the pacing, even through the difficult levels and bonus stage, was well done - there were never so many enemies, weak or strong, that it felt impossible to clear them all out. With that being said, there are a couple of things I would like to point out as possible improvements. First is that there were several points in level 6 where there were so many enemy bullets on screen my computer absolutely chugged. I have fairly recent hardware too, so it doesn't feel right for it to have lagged that much. I also feel that once you pass a certain rank, like 10, you should be awarded 3 bonus points instead of 2, simply because of the amount of experience it takes to level from there on out. I've played as all three specialists, leveling each of their specific stats past 20, and I have to say that the Paladin feels overpowered compared to the others at that point. I also question the point of even having a health bar, because the weaker enemy shots are easily dodged and the stronger boss shots almost always wind up being one-hit kills. However, all in all this is a solid shooter, definitely worth playing. Well done.
