they look alike

they all smile the same, same rider, same head shape only thing that is diffrent is the gun, attack and the bullets. i had a hard time enjoying it.
its not original redshift and blue shift have the same sidescrolling but they put more detail. it got boring not as fast as this.
You screwed up pixel games.
I cant even rate it over 5.
its that bad

i really tried to like this game.

it's well stylized, charming looking, upgrade system etc. but a few glaring flaws really bring out the worst in the genre. the upgrades basically suck, i don't know what else to say about them.

the thing that really sticks out like a sore thumb for me though is the fact that when you get hit by a bullet you don't get a second or two of invulnerability to recover, you literally take damage for each and every bullet that strikes you, in a danmaku style game that's pretty unforgivable in my opinion, which ties in closely to my other major complaint.

honestly what is the point of the hitpoint system when your character gets obliterated after one or two hits max? bullet heaven is a game that definitely did this style correctly, this one is just a well presented turd.
