Very enjoyable game :)

Had lots of fun. It was actually pretty hard, even on normal difficulty. Started to play world domination as Alliance 3 (borders vaguely like WWII German Reich and its allies), and after a couple of victories I started to get my ass served to me :D But I managed to hold, on some tenth or so attempt capture England and then built a power base around it using

air raids and naval battles which I found the easiest to play.

Until I got the right mix of troops, learned the spawning cycles and upgraded the essentials (dmg, range, life) it was really hard.

After that the air battles were the easiest, followed by sea battles (equally easy but lengthier).

The different land battles were well made, I liked the variations and that I had to be prepared for any type of battle.

Hardest of them was the all out artillery battle, which was very narrowly even and balanced even after I got all the possible upgrades (and I suspect AI had them too, so were even in this). I didn't even have time to look at the animations of the battle as I was spawning all the troops and supporting fire I could.

Word of advice: Do not waste time with base defenses. Those are useless. The time you waste building them is time you do not use to spawn troops , which will cause the enemy standing at your gates with some heavy guns and they won't help you at this point even if fully upgraded.

Very well made and balanced, I certainly appreciated the challenge (took me 18 or 19 game days to win World domination - and I had to do it without any save/load procedures, because I had some issues with the window freezing when I tried to save once, also frozen at the end by the Victory screen).

Do not get discouraged by those trying it was unplayable, they just do not have hat it takes to rule :P

One last thing, it reminded me of those old games (almost as old as I am) I used to play o back in n those old video machines back in early nineties.. :) If you made this game back then, you would now be a stinking rich game business legend :))

So even though there were those issues with saving, I gave it a 5/5 because after some 20 years, this was firs game of this type, that I enjoyed and that kept me captivated :)
