It's 9/9/09, and it's time for a flash comic commemorating the date!
Ashe Satan, an attorney working in the city of Hollywood Metro, Crescent Tear, recalls to her boyfriend the times when her father would pick the absolute wrong date to try and take over the world.
I thought this was a pretty cool cartoon to watch, even though I have seen better from you. I liked it how that woman appeared normal at first, then her breasts and bra just seemed to stick out. It kind of reminds me of the movie "End Of Days" (I have not seen it, BTW), where the date is really 999 that the world ends. The cuter animation was by far better. I liked the appearance of Jesus and him calling his dad. I had similar disappointment when June 6th, 2006 came and there was no apocalypse.
not too bad
not too bad little bit funny but was stll bit lame
Cool. You pass.
One issue, it ain't that hard to animate the mouths moving at least. Do it. You can even stick to tweening motion if you like.
I prefer not to tween the mouths, since they look real forced, and lack the fine finesse of FBF.
Since I dabble in flash comic, it's a preference that I chose not to animate the mouths in both styles.
i liked it!
feels pretty cliched
Have you seen Lucy, Daughter of the Devil on Adult Swim? It's pretty much exactly the same concept. Of course that was professionally produced so it's somewhat an unfair comparison.
Regardless of the originality of the concept, the recurring joke became predictable very fast. The voice work was also a little weak. The crowd dialogue at the end was kind of funny though.
It has been over three years since I last saw Lucy, Daughter of the Devil, so I don't remember the series much, but the mood struck me as pretty laid back and really odd. The original seed for the series was when I failed to make "Jesus Christ: Ace Attorney", which is where Ashe would've originated.
Yeah, I know the joke is predictable. But let's face it, there's not much I could really do with the joke, and I told it essentially three times in one video, because I used the Rule of Three, which is pretty much ingrained in my style now.
Blue boy meets his lovely neighbor!
