I don't think it could hold the attention of a child for very long. It's not very flashy, and as far as relating between numbers and letters at that speed, it's bound to get old. I like the idea of trying to do childrens games though. I'd like to see more of that, just try and appeal more to childrens interests.

For little kids, it would be fun. For me, it's a bit boring. Maybe if the music had a better loop instead of the pause after a few seconds, it would be less annoying. But still, it's not bad, just a little easy.

The idea of catch things that fall off the sky is pretty old. So, games like this should have some diferential to stand out.
Your game is a little too slow and with nothing more to do that running from side to side and avoid red balls. I think that if this game was more fast and with more things to do/avoid/catch it would be a lot more interesting.
