After 3 long years of sleepless nights and near fatal set backs, Exmortis 3 has finally been released. I have put my heart and my soul in to this creation, so I hope more than anything that you enjoy this tale of revenge and salvation.
Over to you now, my friends...
The collective mindset has spoken.
Hey man, you've been listening to us piss and moan for over 3 years now. And quite frankly, this girl's with them.
I saw the first Exmortis on the Adventure games section of NG a few years back, and, curiosity piqued at a possibly high-quality horrorclicker, I played it.
I still have nightmares to this day, and am absolutely TERRIFIED to look out my window in the late nights, as the woods behind my house look exactly like the ones surrounding the house from Ex1.
I loved it. When I discovered there was a part 2, I was ecstatic to play it, and was definitely not disappointed. I had dreams of going as Lord Vlaew for Halloween this year, even.
Then came the countdown for Ex3...
I stayed up all night, waiting for it. Downloaded it the moment I could. Played it in the space of 30 minutes.
I have never been so disappointed in my life.
You HAVE sold out. I'm sorry to say it, I can understand, this is your baby, you went through a 3-year labor to make it, that I understand.
But the pay-to-play severely disappointed me. And before you doubt the economic downturn, let me tell you this: when my mom last checked her bank account, there was 55 cents in it. 55 cents. She had to take my 50 dollars in birthday money just to make sure the bank didn't add on extra fees for us in overdraw.
To even ASK us to pay 20 dollars for a flash game, amazing or not, is just insulting. And then to give us this DEMO is to basically kick us while we're down.
You lost a diehard fan. And now, the woods aren't so terrifying.

i, like many others i am sure, feel utterly cheated. i come to newgrounds to enjoy these flash games, if i want to pay for games ill go to JB HI FI and pay for an xbox game.
I didn't realise the Newgrounds slogan was "Everything by Everyone (as long as it's free)"...
Enjoy the 20% off sale at JB, buddy.
all this time we were waiting for a game that COULD have been sucsseful and you fucked up...why would you charge people moeny to play a flash game?? this game was going to make newgrounds explode...and you ruin it
are you serious? i've been waiting for years to play this with my dad. me and him played the first two and i checked up on it regullarly. one day i gave up all hope, until recently, when i decided to check it out. i knew how long hes been working on it so i expected the greatest game ever. i got this. THIS PIECE OF CRAP! since when did he have telikinetic abillities, what up with the sniper dude, and P2P?!?!?!? i love the series, i truly do, but im not paying to play this. also, it auto saves on the demo, but you cant save unless you pay. i know, youve been working on this for a long time, and it cost money to work on it, but couldn't you have been nice and just asked on your blog"hey, could you send some money to help me get this up and running".
Tottaly awsome game. All my 5's! big props to ya. But srry I rated u 0's instead with 0 stars. My reason for doing so is this, I applaud you for going the extra mile and making a buck for yourself but seriously? I mean Newgrounds is supposed to be everything by everyone, not everyone by who can afford it. I'll probably lose my account for this but why would you use a sight to build up such a reputation with the Exmortis series if you were planning to charge people after they've come so far to the end? I feel let down by such a sell-out move on your part. I've played the demo and I have nothing to complain about except the fact that it explains nothing about the exmortis. You'd think by playing your demo we'd get to uncover more of the story, as to who Mr. Hanney is and why he ended up where he is. A big disappointment for me man. Doesn't mean I won't buy the game. My review does not reflect the gameplay or design at all. Only the extremely uninformative demo. If you think I'm wrong then comment back. And explain exactly why I'm wrong, because I'd really like to know. Thank You.
