This is the best tactical shooting trainer that

exists out there. I completed the entire game using ONLY the six-shooter, and nothing else. The default six shooter in this game is actually a Remington Model 1858 cartridge conversion, which uses the same cartridge as the "Colt .45", the .45 Long Colt, so both guns have the same ballistics. I own several Remington revolvers and do a lot of long-range accuracy shooting with them, sometimes on targets over 300 yards away. The key to defeating the enemies in this game is staying cool in the face of fire. With multiple enemies firing at you, it is very easy to lose your coordination and fire wildly. The key is to stay in hiding, focus on an enemy you want to single out, then breaking out of cover, keeping your eyes on the gun sights, and firing one single, accurate round at the particular enemy, and immediately taking cover again. The GUN SIGHTS is the key here. Under stress, one will always instinctively focus on the enemy, instead of his gun sights, and therefore, 95 percent of time, he WILL miss the shot. The key to making an accurate shot under stress is FOCUS ON THE WEAPON SIGHTS AND WHERE THE WEAPON IS POINTED AT. During any firefight, over 99 PERCENT of the rounds fired DO NOT hit their targets, because even trained shooters would forget to concentrate on his weapon's sights. This game relies solely on tactics and mental coordination. When you are hiding behind your obstacle, you should focus on one particular enemy, estimate where your weapon's SIGHTS will fall on once you break cover, and fire the shot as soon as you come up from cover. The key to doing this is to COMPLETELY shut your mind off of the other enemies who are shooting at you, and focus only on the ONE enemy you intend to take down on your next trip up from hiding. The horsemen, dynamiters, and running enemies can be serious distractions which CAN cause you to miss. The key point here is to ignore them until you have formulated a plan in how to take them down with one single, accurate shot. Dynamiters are easily identifiable, and can be shot before they get a chance to throw their explosives. The best time to do this is when they are running towards their hiding spots, or popping up right before throwing their bombs. With a quick, solid headshot, the explosives never get a chance to even leave the thrower's hands. Next up are the mounted shooters. The key to hitting fast moving enemies is to watch them while you are still in hiding, and figuring out their path of travel. When taking aim, always aim at an imaginary spot just a little farther ahead of the rider along his path of travel. Once you actually fire the round, the horseman will reach your gun's point of aim just as you fire, connecting the straight line.
I have defeated all three difficulty settings using JUST the default weapon, and nothing else. Try it for yourself. Follow what I have just written, and you can do the same thing. This game is absolutely the most realistic tactical trainer. Excellent for sharpening mental coordination. I recommend this to anyone who loves guns and shooting, whether you are a shotgun skeet shooter, or a long range rifle and revolver competitor. This game would have made Elmer Keith, Ed McGivern, and Adolph Topperwein proud.
