Anyway, it's finally done! In November 2008, I promised my girlfriend I'd make her a game, to cheer her up. She liked Sonic the Hedgehog, so I used that for a bit of inspiration... The graphics are based on Chiang Mai, Thailand, where I was living.
I've been working on this game since then - reprogrammed the engine twice... I wanted to make a sandbox game - that you can play in, and explore, rather than having to just run from one level to the next...
I hope you like it.

LEFT/RIGHT - RUN
UP - TALK (AND FLY, EVENTUALLY)
DOWN - CROUCH/ROLL
SPACE - JUMP
P - PAUSE
Q - ADJUST QUALITY

Hints:

Use your roll attack to take out enemies... You can jump on most of them, but some are spiked.
Talk to other wolves, for hints.
There are hidden caves, and secret tasks, that you must find to score 100% complete.
The two bosses are quite easy to beat, IF YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. Talk to wolves, if you're having trouble.

This game contains a bonus pack, that you can access as you play, by scoring the following:
60% Complete = PARTY WOLF - you can edit Jade Wolf's colour.
70% Complete = DETAILED MAP - Unlock a map that you can access anywhere, with the locations of caves, statues, and hidden items.
80% Complete = WINGED WOLF - unlock wings, to fly about the land.
90% Complete = BONUS LEVELS - unlock 2 bonus levels.
100% Complete = SANDBOX MODE/ANGEL GLOW - You can play developer! Change the jump height, run speed etc. of Jade Wolf. Also, you can give your character angelic glow effects, or even Predator-style camouflage!

All of the above is free (of course!). However, if you want to skip ahead, and help fund Jade Wolf 2, you can unlock the bonus pack early through HeyZap. There's stuff priced from FREE to 25 cents. You don't even have to pay with money - you can do online surveys etc.
