I really love WTF games and this is a good one. I really like the chainsaw.

Why isn't it called Dad's Game?

Wouldn't it be a little more consistent to be called Dad's Game instead of Dadgame?

Anyway, there is a new game featured on the front page and this one is based on my favourite flash cartoons when I first regularly used the internet, Dad. The only problem is that I'm unable to give it a perfect score for reasons I can explain, leaving people to rate this review as useless.

The game is your regular 2-D sidescrolling beat 'em up with what Dad does best (and the US army), blow shit up! This is what you need to do because when he destroys a huge amount of items he can be invincible and create a tornado move whenever he uses his weapons.

The first great thing about this game is that it has everything you expect in a Dad's game, but maybe too much. I mean I get the destruction of everything, him getting on fire for random reasons, and the guitar. But is the weapon out the throat necessary, even if it isn't a sword? Oh and nice Final Fantasy VII reference, that makes a whole lot of sense.

Another good thing about it is the stage bosses, all of them I played so far are original and clever, my favourite is the train because it looks so awesome it makes the Doom Train from the Final Fantasy cry!

Now we have the negetives, first of all the gameplay looks a bit low quality for some reason while the cutscenes and the menu are high in quality (hmm...). The main problem is it's difficulty, it seems all too easy which made me stop playing, you can regenerate health which is stupid for a beat em up (health items? hello?), I tried on normal mode to see if there is more difficulty but all it seems to do is slightly slow down the health regeneration lower the amount of lives. For some reason enemies and even Dad floats a bit which I bet can get fixed, which would also mean people'll lose there save data (thank you Toss the Turtle update).

So overall, it's a good beat em up despite being too easy for specialists for the genre, and if you are a fan of Dad then please do play it, but as always these front page games (except William and Sly) are overrated.
