Hmm...

I found the series to be awesome so far (even though I haven't watched the first two parts yet), but the reason why I gave you an 8/10 is, just like Edoneh had stated, the white choppy borders kind of DO take away the flash's overall feeling. That, and I noticed that in one part of this movie, you kind of forgot to include some leg movement when two of the main characters were running away from the murderer (unless you did that on purpose).

Also, I might want to make a suggestion for the next episode (or any other upcoming episodes in particular): you should probably include some voice acting in these movies, mostly because I believe that it's the best way for the characters to express their feelings towards one another. But the other sound effects, as well as the background music, I DID find most fitting.

But despite all that, great job on this movie! =)

Very good!

I really like the graphic-novel style animation. One minor criticism - the characters occasionally look a little gormless during conversations, their mouths hanging open a bit much!

Good work

The ending of chapter III isn't as suspenseful as for chapter II, but it's still interesting. Also, this is the first of the three where some of the the talk balloons weren't displayed long enough for me to get through reading them.

Choppy Edges

I don't mind the animation + comic panels, but when you animate the characters, the white choppy borders are indeed not fun to look at, they take away from the overall feel of the flash. Thats the only problem I saw.

Same issue brought up before

Although the story is still intriguing and your style is unique to what I usually see on Newgrounds, the choppy combination of animation and still comic was disconcerting. I particularly disliked the stiff running animation for Jan, which switched to sliding them across the screen, which seemed like something in a children's popup book (or that brought it to mind anyway).

I think you're still finding your niche in the medium and coming to find a style that you like for this animation series, so it's understandable. But hopefully the next episode will be a little less disjointed in the animation style, and will be longer with more plot to enjoy.
