The Tarboy SOUNDTRACK is now available for download here:

Whoa! We're totally blown away by the response Tarboy's had so far :O We can barely keep up with all the incredible reviews, notes and emails! Thank you everybody for the daily feature and front page!

It's taken us a long time to finally upload Tarboy, so thanks to all the people who've been waiting patiently. We hope you enjoy it :) Check out the Bonus features too, we put a lot of work into it!

The score was composed by Newground's own Hania Lee.

Now that we've got this one out we can focus completely on Tarboy II.

This was incredible through and through. The animation was great, the story line was amazing, and even the music was wonderful. This is trully movie grade.

Dont get me wrong with the 9/10, i think its one of the best flash on newgrounds, ever. and i have given 10/10 to worse flash, but im more of a critic on this masterpiece for several reason. Just read on to understand why it got 9/10 as suppose to 10/10
The music was perfect, hania did her part well. From the opening, to the credits, the music never failed to help set and maintain a mood corrosponding to the scene.
I especially liked the jazz during/before the special effects scene.
The backgrounds were perfect as well, especially in the opening.
Character design and plot, as well as smoothness of the animation were 10/10 as well for obvious reasons.
The voice actors(Eric and Zachary Gusky) from
The point i took off wasn't anything to do with the quality, it had to do with the fact that you forgot some things as the animation went on, things that contradict each other displayed 1-15 seconds apart from each other were common and looked like mistakes. Some examples are the robot(right before the special effects scene) growing spikes that disappear as soon as the lights go on. The grandpa having his eyes switch(cross was at first on his left, our right but in the end was on his right, our left) before and after tarboy melts, grandpas finger changing size when he says "im afraid not"(in response to "so did he beat the bad guys?", the line "...the pain of millions(note the plural) of robot slaves, for he was them, a million(note the singular) robot murdered souls and...", and the changing of the grandpas joint pads from black to bronze-ish.
Once again, this is one of the best flash on newgrounds of all time. Its only flaw is a few inconsistencies that i guarantee none of which were noticed by over 90% of the viewers (except for the spikes disappearing, though Im sure most people who noticed saw it and forgot it happened after those stunning special effects). As amazing as all that animation was, i think Hania's music was the best part of Tarboy.
Anyways, this so-good-it-hurts movie is so close to being perfect that i had to point out those subtle flaws, i hope that the next one is just as good.
