Since defeating the devil, and getting the girl, things have become a little overdomesticated for our hero. Now that an annoyed Princess is forcing him out of retirement, an even worse threat is looming on the horizon, and you must help him ride out to confront it! With a hugely expanded world to explore, a new cast of nasties to slay, a rejigged magic system, more items than ever to pick up and exploit, Knightfall 2 is an epic undertaking...

In this fantasy puzzle-RPG, you must guide Knight around the board through a combination of destroying block groups and rotating the entire play area! You can lead him into battle against foul creatures, grab treasure, cast magic, and make a speedy escape with your spoils!

Embark on a daring adventure and drill your way across the kingdom! Because your wife made you do it.

********************

It's taken us a while to bring Knightfall 2 to NewGrounds but we hope you think the wait was worth it - we've taken the time to fix a few bugs and make a few tweaks to the gameplay, as well as integrate the NG medal system. There are many differences to the original Knightfall including the ability to drill one or two blocks at a time, the ability bar, achievement explanations, a world map, new enemies and items, and many other things that we'll let you discover. Thanks for playing and we hope you enjoy the game!

Cheers,

Megadev.

PS. The "Order Of Thrift" medal and achievement should now work; apologies to any players that weren't able to get these in the previous version!

Well

It really really sucks that I played this on armor games before it came here. I will have to replay the game here to get the medals. The only positive thing about this is that the game is so fun for me to play and it has replayability that I might come back later and play it. I favorited this to make it easier to find later too. As far as the game goes I love how you gave the ability to drill smaller colored block areas. It is still challenging but it widens the possibilities and ways that you can beat a level. The game also takes a lot longer to beat than it's predecessor and the storyline for this one is much better in my opinion. I found the sound effects for the drilling to get annoying but the option to turn sound effects off resolved this problem when I found that. Great job overall and i'd like to see other unique games from you guys.

Oh my god!

I played Knightfall 1 and absolutely loved it. The game play style is so unique and fun to play with. Knightfall 2 really enhanced that. This is now one of my favorite flash games of all time.

But there are still some things done wrong in the game.
-Items like rings and crystals take up space in your inventory. Usually you would were these items to keep them from taking up vital inventory space.

-The inability to sell items you do not want also kinda sucks.

-Lastly, not being able to go back to previously entered places kinda sucks also. I would enjoy going back to the first stage after completing the game just so I can see how powerful I have gotten in the game.

Fix these issue and the next installment (If there will be one) will be perfect.

still awesome

being able to replay old stages would be a big help, esspecially after beating it the first time. otherwise, the only way to get more money is in the endless dungeon, which costs atleast 1000g, and without atleast 1000g, you're stuck doing nothing.

still, its an awesome game. will there be another sequel?

just an amazing game, better than the last, BUT...

... you made two big mistakes:

1 - You do not allow selling of items, so this prevents you from going in Endless Dungeon if you accidentally spent all your money;
2 - NPCs talk to you exactly the same way despite fact that you cleaned out certain areas AND even after you beat the game;

otherwise, this game is PERFECT!

hints and tips:
- try to use up AP to line up creatures in a row, then pile down on them. you can get disgusting amounts of extra XP that way. it will literally turn a few slimes into 1000s more XP.
- if you beat a board early, stand by the door (one square away), then use rest of AP to get rid of tiles until you have as much of ONE color tile as possible. destroy that giant group for huge XP values.
- make sure your first few items are NOT rings or anything valuable. if thief comes, he will steal them. it's annoying.

DS?

It took me hours to finish, but with 450k exp I did well! Thanks for ruining my evening, I was planning on making it productive ;)
And yes, a DS version of this might be nice! If you need contacts, I believe ronimo games in the Netherlands is always looking for good concepts. (they designed "de Blob" and created "Swords & Soldiers" for Wii and Wiiware). Google 'em up. They might help ya' out.
