I loved the 'story' (or rather, random turn of events) of the movie! There is, however, one thing I really miss here, and that's some music to accompany the animation! That could really spice things up here. Overall, a nice thing to watch :)

I absolutely LOVE the sound the bat makes when it contacts the kid's head. There's nothing cartoony or overdone about it. It's just the sound of a hollow metal bat hitting something hard.
And those people who are whining over the kid being hit by a bat - get over it. We have kids getting shot out there in reality. Go help them if you're so righteous.
