Thank you for FP newgrounds. You guys are awesome to make all things possible.

The original animation by Josh Wimble dared me to do this remake. I was hoping someone would have eventually done a remake because the original was so moving. So here I present my version and hope that all who have seen the original will be moved once more.

Music by Switchfoot.
Original story by Josh Wimble.
Animated by Patrick Majewski.

This video is pretty inspiring and the animation goes perfectly with the song. Awesome job dude!

While I liked the animation and the song, I did not like the ending. Why force religion on other people?

The animation is not bad though it lacks precision. But the message is terrible. People from poor countries need to develop their economies. They don't need our pity and above all they don't need our homophobic religions (remember every time a pope recommands NOT to use condoms in poor countries where aids kill thousands...).

Truth is that WE need their misery to find redemption or a goal to our life. But pity is not compassion, it's closer to despise and missionaries are conquerors.

wow very inspiring movie, dramatic and moving. Thx for the remake, I never saw the original and probably would never have if you didnt remake it so thx and you deserve all the wonderful reviews and Newgrounds praises and trophies:)Thats why I love Newgrounds, different artists from everywere that are just inspired to create and their joy of animating no matter what message being sent, be it funny, inspirational, or sad, even craziness can be felt through watching them.

Almost made me tear up. The animation was all motion tweened and had some problems but that was pretty irrelevant compared to the message. Awesome work, don't stop animating.
