Thank you for FP newgrounds. You guys are awesome to make all things possible.

The original animation by Josh Wimble dared me to do this remake. I was hoping someone would have eventually done a remake because the original was so moving. So here I present my version and hope that all who have seen the original will be moved once more.

Music by Switchfoot.
Original story by Josh Wimble.
Animated by Patrick Majewski.

This is truly amazing

I actually cried a bit.... this is such a truly moving story that can hit anyone straight in the heart. It makes people think what happened with their life and what they can do with it still, if you think about it, the whole story is practically a true happening, it's almost like mixing the Katrina tragedy with the pain, fear, and hunger of the villages in Africa.

This is amazing, truly, I love it and I am buying this song NOW.

stallioon you have a lot of nerve

This flash is awesome! 5/5 and Fav.

I know that the review section is a bad place to start an arguement, but I am sorry. I have to say something.
Stallioon, I can't stop you from saying things like that, but you are abesolutely wrong.
"And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea." Mark 9:42

Stallioon: "Religion is bull**** and conspicuous compassion like this makes me sick."
You know what? Then go puke.

Godlimations responds:

thanks, I can't see the review though... it may have been voted to be deleted...

I just can't find it or his alias...

cheers Mike.

The ending was beyond moving

It was really awesome but I don't like how it had to involve's not like I'm against religion; they make great amounts of contributions to society. However it's so stereotypical that people that do good have some sort of religious background. Why do they have to be religious in order to do good?

To me, the flash was amazing until the mother dies and the boy turns towards christianity. I just don't believe fueling a stereotype is a great way to justify the meaning of the song and flash respectively.

Godlimations responds:

it was more about personal revelation on the individual. What are you talking about stereotypes... everyone has a stereotype...

The man did good things, but he never had a religious background until the end. He wanted more from this life. And that is still a stereotype. :S

Switchfoot are a Christian band. They're a stereotype too :)

Thanks for watching! :D
