Hi there, Newgrounds, remember me? No, of course you don't, the only thing I ever submitted in the past was a cheap sprite animation with about a thousand views, many of them my own. I kept meaning to make something else and submit it, but I never got around to it.

However, about a week ago I took a one-week course in Flash animation and made a few animated shorts. I showed them to some friends and they loved them, so I decided it would be a great idea to put them together in a compilation and submit them here. The animations are sorted into two categories, Full Toons and Smaller Shorts. The Full Toons are really the only things that are worthwhile; I only included the Smaller Shorts to be comprehensive. As I describe in the menu descriptions for the animations, a lot of these were conceived as part of a sort of war I was having with my friend Jameson, where we were trying to constantly 1-up each other with animations that depicted the other getting blown up somehow. Every animation here is just about exactly the same as it was when I first made it. The only major exception is in The Story of William Tell. At first, I was using an .FLV video I downloaded for an explosion effect, but since that would mess around with copyright laws if I uploaded it, I just went and replaced it with a hand-drawn explosion instead. Other than that, the only other changes were name changes for privacy concerns and changes to the font types, since I was transferring files made on a PC to a Mac, meaning some fonts weren't cross-compatible.

Every animation has a back button hidden in the top left corner, just mouse over it to make it appear. Also, since I know some people aren't going to read the menu descriptions, it's very important to note that the first (and biggest, and best) Full Toon, The Story of William Tell, does NOT end after the credits; there are some alternate endings after the credits roll that really make the animation what it's supposed to be. And for the people who don't read the descriptions, either, THE STORY OF WILLIAM TELL DOES NOT END AFTER THE CREDITS, THERE ARE ALTERNATE ENDINGS AFTER THE CREDITS ROLL. That oughta get their attention.

So yeah, that's about it. Watch and enjoy the Full Toons, folks, and, if you've got some spare time to watch a bit of crap, watch the Smaller Shorts, too. Of the shorts, my personal favorite is the one called Malaysia. The better of the Full Toons is The Story of William Tell, but watch them both. VEND! is good, too.

Hope you all enjoy it! If all goes according to plan, I should be submitting some more stuff in the not-so-distant future. Granted, that's what I said last time, but this time I really mean it! I swear! :O I've got a ton of ideas for things to do, and since I'll have all the time in the world this time around (as opposed to the one week I had to make all eight of these), hopefully I'll be able to make some really awesome stuff.

Until then, Newgrounds!

Not bad, but not good.

The flash itself was pretty funny, but the menu is unorganized, and I have to refresh the page if I want to see the other ones because there is no 'back to menu' button.

The humor is fine, but you need to go back and orginize it some more.

MissingMyHead responds:

Actually, there is a back button. It's in the top left corner of every animation. I mentioned it in the description.
