Chromium is a top-down shooting game with intense gameplay and an innovative chaining system. The background will create itself as you play the game, forming amazing and constantly changing artwork. Features 15 stages of gameplay with over 30 enemies, a range of powerups, challenges and some 3D graphics.

Music is 'The End is Near' by Gregory Bakay AKA Madboss, big thanks for letting me use this.

Flash Player 10 Required. There shouldn't be any lag, but if your PC does struggle on later levels hit P to pause the game and turn off blast FX and switch to low quality. Also close any other Flashes you might have running for best performance. Hope you enjoy the game and thanks in advance to anyone who posts comments.

Edit - I'm genuinely shocked to have gotten Daily Feature, thanks so much to everyone who has voted and left reviews.

Lot of people asking for permanent upgrades in the next one. I have a few ideas for some but original suggestions would be welcome!

Entertaining but...

Repetitive. Sure it's a challenge as the game goes along but it's still more of the same thing over and over again. Upgrades add change and something continually new to a game. Well done otherwise.

This game...

Was very entertaining. The graphics were wonderful and I really enjoyed the colors. It has a lot of action and the sound effects rule. But what I like most, was the music. I swear, the music kicked ass, it made the game very engaging. This game was, over all, very fun. The only thing I didn't like were some of the boss battles at the beginning of the game, they were a bit too bland, and were rather easy to kill. Take the first boss for example, all he his is just a spinning blade, he doesn't even shoot! The normal enemies could have killed me faster. I'm still going to give this game the 10 stars it deserves, but in the sequel, if you plan on making one, make the bosses a bit tougher, like instead of no cannons, go with the cliche and give him a bunch of cannons. Oh, and a shop with some permanent upgrades would be great to. So this is a good game, worth playing, however its just not perfect.
