*** YAY! THANKS HEAPS TO TOM FULP AND THE NEWGROUNDS TEAM/COMMUNITY FOR THE FRONTPAGE! ***

*** Sorry guys, I had to fix some bugs people were having problems with - the game is back now! ***

One of the first computer games I've ever played as a kid, was a game called Saboteur 2 on the good old Commodore 64. Sure, if you look at Saboteur now, it doesn't really compare, but it has a certain charm and atmosphere about it, that no other game has been able to replicate for me. To this day, I find the c64 to be a huge source of inspiration when creating my games. Ninjufo was a tremendous amount of fun to work on and I had a blast going all 8-bit with the art/design. I hope you guys enjoy playing the game as much as I loved working on it!

MISSION:
Infiltrate a heavily guarded enemy warehouse and collect 50 crates full of top secret info.

CONTROLS:
ARROW KEYS to move / SPACE to shoot.

Decent

It was too easy. Just really easy. Do not add a map because that was the only thing keeping my focus. lol. Someone suggested that. And definately keep the red bots you cant kill. they are fun. nice job tho. was fun but not too long and boring. Only losing a point for easiness.

Knytt, but with guns

This was one of the best ambient games I have ever played in my life. There were no lives, no powerups, just pure exploration with a little strategy and puzzling skill. Great soundtrack. The entire thing reminded me so much of Knytt, which you all should play, if you like a good exploration game like this.

Hey there, thank you very much for the awesome feedback! I absolutely love Knytt and Knytt Stories (especially the underwater bit!). I'm really looking forward to expanding Ninjufo into a bigger/better game in the near future.

Alright

I got 49 out of 50 boxes, mostly with luck, but a map would have been very helpful, especially since all of the scenery looks the same. Also, the red flying bot things that chase you are rather difficult to kill, since they can't be shot. :/ Good idea, but it was too long and too repetitive. You should make smaller, shorter levels with different scenery to break the game up a bit.
