Aniforce's showreel (COMPILATION OF WORK) of 2009. features traditional, digital and 3D work.

I will soon upload my showreel of 2007 as it also has stop-motion work.

"Really Original Art Style(s)..."

date: August 7, 2009

I believe show reels are the best, because the artist gets to pick what they think is their best work (which, is USUALLY their best work)...

After reading a few comments, I'm glad that you use programs like after effects, flash, photoshop, and cinema 4D. They all play their own purpose, and help you produce what you want to achieve (I hope). The "depths" you frequently used make the scenes come to life. Making the characters come to life can be hard enough, but making the backgrounds come to life is another task among itself. You pulled that off quite nicely.

I have a question though... Do you use after effects for character animation, or only for particle effects (like the "underwater clip")?

Author's Response:

thanks you for your response!

I use After Effects for character animation mainly, but since it also functions very well for compositing and things such as effects, I use it for that as well. After effects has the power to rig a character ánd animate it fluidly without limitation. In after effects it is easy to use scipts to animate as well, which can be very handy.

Though, I also use Flash to animate characters, mainly frame-by-frame
hope that helps

I liked this showreel and if I was employing someone to do something for
me then I would have been impressed with this example work!

"very cool"

date: August 7, 2009

I really liked this, I like how some of them feel like they're 3d but they're not actually (if that makes any sense lol). Something about the use of layers or something I guess.
Also greenmage007, what you said actually makes me angry, This is the original song, it's by Daft Punk. Kanye West sampled this song for his, it makes me sad that you didn't know that

Author's Response:

I understand. I try to use more depths, even though it's not "real". Using depth makes everything more alive. It gives you something to look at.
And yes, this is the original song from Daft Punk. It's absolutly not a kanye west remix :)
