Like always, thank you Tom Fulp for allowing me to upload files above 10 MB. We couldn't get the quality that we do now without it.

Ok, here comes the warning that I put up on every flash to stop stupid reviews. It works too so read. :)

THIS IS A VIDEO AND IT IS ALLOWED ON NEWGROUNDS

If you don't believe me then just check Numa Numa, which was first submitted here on newgrounds. The owner of the site has videos, and there are 100's of popular live video movies here on newgrounds so to the reviewers review it on how you liked it. You don't know how many "this belongs on youtube" reviews that we get, but they really don't matter too much since Review Mods shortly delete them within a short amount of time. Other random fact. You are allowed to choose actor as a part for the coauthors and Tom Fulp has accepted and given permission for me to upload them.

Ah, now that little speech is over onto some information about the movie.

It is simply a movie about a movie. It starts off very slow, but it has a great build up to the punch line. The movie is about 7 minutes long so I guess don't watch if you have a short attention span. The original file is around 107 MB, the good quality flash version is above 23 MB, but since my upload limit is only 20 MB I had to take the next lowest quality down, which is this 11 MB that you are about to view.

Enjoy, rate, review, etc..

"Good screenplay"

date: October 5, 2009

I liked the way this movie was filmed. How you guys were just sitting around playing video games then slowly and slowly started writing a movie. I enjoyed how as you were explaining the script it was happening in the movie. The humor wasn't bad but I don't like how most of it revolved around you as a comic relief character. Which is too cliche' man. Anyway the acting in this movie was also nice but at many times it seemed you made everything up as you went along. And you improvised the whole thing. Also I would like a pause button and scene select plz. Plus the whole time the Newgroudns link and play button were hidden behind the video. Which you should fix. Anyway didn't have any other problems with the movie so great work. And You guys are hot by the way.

Of course it seemed to be made all up because it was all made up as the camera was turned on. Anyone can act from a script.

"Wow!"

This one was perfect, it shows how your videos production improved since you first submitted Hay Wars. The video quality was great in this one, you managed to keep a good quality even though you had to cut the size of the file. And the light was better than in BTS 2 - there was no very dark scene as in BTS 2. So that's a good point.

One problem though, I'd like to hear better the voices; the voice's sound was actually quite bad I think it comes from the camera mic right? Subtitles would have helped me to understand the whole thing :P. There was a weird delay on the voice at the very beginning of it when it say "Fronickproductions present...", was it intended? It was quite odd to me. Other than that, the musics you chose were good and fitted well the video.

The concept was awesome itself, I liked the idea of a movie inside another movie and that sort of "making of". Kudos for writing the script, it was well written and I assume it was hard to do it because of that "movie inside a movie" thing.

Great humour in this one! The scene I liked the best was when the ninja walks behind you, falls and kills you with that zukini; it was very funny. Awesome acting performance by Nick with the window pane action, it was greatly done. Kick ass production overall :D.

"A heartwarming tale"

What an amazing tale of how Froductions started its hugely successful and now worldwide dominant movie business. I love the way that you two brainstormed ideas in a sort of "the making of" special featurette.

The video quality was amazing and while there wasn't actually much animation in this, it certainly garnered a lot of attention from me as a sample of one viewer.

I think that you could have used more SFX in the piece, as you've got ninjas, so why not have smoke bombs, as obviously the ninja would beat the cowboy's arse, even if only armed with a zukini.

If the ninja didn't have the zucchini I would have destroyed him.

"That was the most brutal death I've ever saw..."

date: August 27, 2009

Wow, a cowboy that gets killed by a ninja who's using a zucchini as a weapon. That was brutal. You should add a warning to the beginning of the movie. :P

Anyway, I really liked this one. The beginning is a bit slow but once Corey throws in his ideas it becomes more interesting. The best thing is of course that we can see the movie you talk about, WHILE you talk about it. This means every time one of you says something it has to happen in the movie as well. Of course the characters don't expect it and they are really surprised when suddendly the scenery changes.

The ending with Froductions was pretty funny.

===============
Score: 8 / 10
Summary: Nice live-action flick
Review:

Graphics/Animation:
I have to agree with insanimation on this one. It looks like an amateur-movie, which I guess it is. It's not too bad, not as many flaws as in the Beneath the Sheets 2 movie. Better job with the camera staying still, and with the lighting being better. But it's still ruining the shot at times, with all the light in the background.

Story/Plot:
Pretty much one long stupid story. Which made me laugh. I loved it. Great humor, so surreal, it's really weird. Great gags. Some nice lines.

Audio:
Quality of sound isn't very good, but it's not horrible. Lots of interference. Nice soundtrack. It really isn't bad. It's not really great, but it fits.

Conclusion:
Not the greatest live-action movie I've seen, but it really isn't bad. It's funny, absolutely. Nice stuff!
